I know all of his behavior or most has to do with childhood trauma. And that is why he doesn't feel worthy & has a lot of fears. And mother wounding as well. He had just moved to my area when we first met. He kept saying he wanted his family to visit. His mother finally came to visit & only stayed 1 day.He said there were issues between them but didn't tell me what. He has a fear of being vulnerable, abandonment & rejection. Our childhoods are very similar. He breadcrumbed, ghosted, ran & took me for granted. I knew it was because of his wounding. But I was still hurt. I pulled back my energy to give him the space to grow & heal💫✨ I know he is transforming now. He doesn't understand this since I haven't told him much but I have a chronic condition I've had since childhood. I've been on a program to heal & when we met, my whole world turned upside down so I fell off my program over 3 years ago. I just got back on it a few months ago. Oh God that's so not true what he assumes, 😭😭😭😭 I get the feeling like you said that he thinks I don't love him. But I'm trying to keep it as vague as possible because it's considered a forbidden relationship coz huge age difference n he's younger, totally absolutely frowned upon in my society. He also can't just say what he feels, he's being respectful too and I can't deal with the extreme awkwardness of making it clear that I want him. It's a tricky situation. Hence toned down myself a bit, 😭 😭 😭 😭 have no other way of keeping things natural balanced and friendly. It's not distance. I just don't freaking know how to keep my dignity, my rationality and his expectations at the same time.....i have deep affection for him and would be happy to have him in my life as a companion and he's also a distant relative so there's family ties, we are long distance.....i would also be okay for him to marry his own age group and just be the sweet light that he is in my life and I'd keep supporting him, giving him my care and affection. That's the picture in my mind.
