Remember you got air breaks. You should really try the hardest difficulty. Engines overheat too. It's a lot harder. "Death" symbol is the black market. You can do space walks in electrical storms and solar flares. The electrical meter on tour space suit goes down faster but you will be fine

you won't use micro stabilizers for anything, but they are expensive, buy them cheap and sell them expensive, prices change in the regions, sometimes you can find +50% on electronics (click on the left panel on the maps)

So, I didn’t noticed this for a long time but in your map menu, you can toggle the drop down on the left and it tells you what the market prices are in each zone and what’s illegal. I didn’t ever use the black markets (honestly couldn’t figure out any difference because everything is legal where they operate). Regular shops buy everything if it is legal there. Each commodity has an icon that tells you what it is (chemicals is what bombs are, narcotics are pharmaceuticals) and you just hop to where the market is good there and it is legal. Sell. I made 45k off just buying crap cheap at one zone, then selling at another zone. Also, it will get much easier to find cargo drops later and yeah eventually that’s how I made all my money. I only got to level 13 because I got sick of doing deliveries. PS you only need to put down the sun shield when you hear a sizzle sound and the solar icon pops on your dashboard. For the longest time I thought I had to keep it down the whole time I was in that zone.

On your left monitor in the cab one of the screens you can flip to is a front facing camera. You can use that instead of the 3rd person camera during solar flares.

The Micro Stabilizers are just for selling they are great for making money I usually buy them when I see them for sale for 3000-4500 you can find them at salvage beacons but they are rare at least for me then sell them in a system that is buying Electronics for 40%-50% and you can make a great deal I had the floor compartment filled with them and make over 100k selling them and a couple of other items I had gathered

they should add illegal fuels that are cheaper but leave markers that enforcement can identify like IRL with red diesel, but im thinking like a "solid fuel" option that burns a lot of fuel and leaves gas plumes in space behind you, as well as like "black market" fuel cells that leave radiation traces that enforcement can trace

You can actually see where the stuff you sell is illegal, there is a small arrow on the map next to the pop-up system name, click on it, you will get a lot more details on prices for gas or anything else.

Death, I’ll try to avoud that 😂😂. It’s not death, it’s the illegal market where you could sell your explosives. Also, if you’re going beyond 120mph (you’ll have to do the math for kmph), steering is much harder. If you change the view when looking third person to the 3rd option (close up to the truck emblem) it’s easier to see and drive so you can avoid obstacles. Takes a little to adjust to, but definitely worth learning. If you’ve done Candy Crush’s (w/e her name is) quest line that gets you a sonar thing, you can ping it to find floating cargo and make a lot of money

i was once overweight when i went through a weigh station. in real life, they arent really that nice. had to take all my logs and paperwork in and they went through everything as carefully as they could to get me on everything they could.

Long haul is fun, you're constantly fighting your supervisors because they want you on the road past the legal limit of hours, getting screwed by weigh stations or delayed, fighting traffic because nobody want to let you pull out or understands we have to take a wide turn and the intersections are so narrow or just don't take us into account so we have to swing into oncoming traffic, not getting paid while waiting for unloading, or getting stopped by the DOT with their little scales and being put behind schedule and then being reamed out by dispatch again for being behind schedule....I miss the money but not the stress

@@abcdefgcdefg5178 i had fun just because of the freedom, not saying i got along well with dispatch. i got along with transport america dispatch because i knew my dispatch would actually let me shut down if the roads were too hazardous, like too icey. ended up taking my daughters with me the last summer i drove. they were 6 and 7 at the time. that was really a blast.

@@abcdefgcdefg5178 if you still have a cdl and drive anymore, i would suggest american transport midwest division. i've been out of driving for years now, but if it were the same ppl still, dispatch is cool as hell. had a 98 percent on-time delivery rate and took weekends off at various cities to relax and reset my hours, but i was still making good money, when the kids werent with me, they were at their grandmas, and i sent them home $800/week and still had enough to get a motel once a week to relax and eat properly.

The UCC has an error you see, but it doesn't really get in your face about it. You'd have seen a flashing light below the left screen and when you switch to that screen, it tells you that part has gone bad. Best to just check them periodically, especially the climate control.
