If someone deliberately tries to provoke you and you get provoked then it's your mistake. I often face this kind of situation as I travel a lot and if I realize some 2 wheeler fellow is deliberately trying to block me I also slow down and continue without honking and in 100% such cases after some time they speed away. Never look at such people in the eye and just ignore them even if they are making gestures at you. I have both front and rear dashcam and everything gets recorded but that doesn't mean I will take these people head on which is what they want. Slowing down for 1 minute may save hours if things get out of hand. In this case the car driver should have been a little patient and avoided passing so closely. All the riders appear to be locals and it was pointless engaging with them.

You're absolutely right. If someone doesnt give you way and you know they are deliberately doing it, then its not safe to trigger them by trying overtaking maneuvers which are dangerous. Thank you for writing your views in detail. I appreciate it 👍

As usual, the car driver must be a non-Kannadiga and the two-wheeler rider must be a Kannada Maaga. And the most potent tool must be the language. It's a regular affair in Karnataka.

If you show this video to Police they will say.. "OK give a complaint in writing and we will investigate". Of course, if the complaint is given they will act to their best abilities. But unless a complaint is given, they cannot act. Basically we have rendered our own police toothless. A simple sharing of this video is not enough for police to act on the culprits. If the complaint is not given, these culprits are free to repeat this. On top of this, the number of police staff is so low that proporation wise, our apartments probably have more security guards per person than number of police per person of any police station. This is a Hard fact of how Karnataka Govt has been functioning. I am not blaming only the current govt. But all govts that we have had so far. Our police system is very less effective and less utilized. Thank God we have a good societal conciousness. that crime rates are far less compared to the inefficiencies introduced in the police by our political class.

Rather ridiculous to say that the car could've avoided overtaking! What is a car supposed to do behind slow moving traffic on a clear road?? Anyone would be frustrated! The problem is lack of road manners and intelligence among such entitled drivers. Even the police aren't bothering to enforce laws! There was a police constable at the end of the video and STILL they chose not to confront the idiot on the bike! Absolutely pathetic!

Bangalore it is a normal affair, often Paulose also have hand in this mafia. Certain areas fake accidents are used to extort money. Often even get manhandled by these goons(You are lucky seems). Better avoid suburbs of Bangalore or even Bangalore altogether self driving if seeking peaceful life. It is anarchy and no law enforcement. It is no more Garden City , It is Goons Garbage city.

This is near Banashari 6th Stage to Sobha forest view. The 2 wheelers are rude and so many illegal activities will be happening in and around this place. Anyhow nowadays these things have become common in bangalore and no police patrolling vans,hoyasala team surveillance. Damaging the Bangalore reputation and wrong impression on kannadigas.

In such situations, it is better to back off, or even park on the road side safely for a few minutes. When they realize you are not interested, they will go on their way. Though I have not faced such an incident, whenever I get caught behind slow moving heavy vehicles on highways, I park somewhere close to a tea stall, take a break and then continue. It reduces stress.

Couple of suggestions: 1) In cases like this where the dashcam is pointing to the sky, adjust your captions so that the essence of the video is not lost, that's the bare minimum expected of a content creator. 2) In case like this where there is no audio in the original video, please add some soothing background music throughout, rather than blasting the end music. Headphone users get caught unawares. Keep up your good work.

People lack in knowledge of how to set the dash cam. Major of the he action happens on road and road captured at extreme bottom of the video. Not even registation numbers of other vehicles ahead can be captured.

Stay calm and patient. If you know someone who isn't giving you way, then just avoid overtaking so it does not trigger them. Call 112 immediately if they are threatening you
