The “talking over the top” that you hear at the chorus part in the background is: “Common side effects include nervousness, insomnia, nausea, agitation, anxiety, vision problems, psychosis, dizziness, headache, weight loss” Try to listen to that part again and read this, then you can hear it clearly.. That “common side effects” are actually for the pills that usually been prescribed to the mental illness patient that are suffering from depression, anxiety and more such as antidepressant pill etc.

Wait. I'm sorry, I'm new to them and I'm not understanding anything. So they are talking about side effects of growing up and I didn't understand about those 2 choices, about the 2 moons ect. Can you please explain it to me, this songs is my favourite but knowing that this has such a meaning makes me really curious.

Just a few extras I added which were in it. “Common side effects include nervousness, insomnia, nausea, agitation, anxiety, vomiting, sweating, vision problems, psychosis, numbness, dizziness, headaches, weakness, increased heart rate.” (I remember someone mentioned that these are methylphenidate's or common name: "ritalin's" side effects, but can be probably other medications which are used on patients with mental illnesses).

@@CoolEditz_3 here's what i think happened. so in the teaser, they showed 2 groups of stray kids. one group got on a bus and left, while the other group went inside the car in the mv. the mv features the second group of skz, who chose to go the longer way, or the road not taken (a reference to a poem). i think the whole "side effects" is talking abt how this choice had consequences, most likely negative ones, which is why the members get rlly upset w/ each other and even start fighting. by the end, they all learn to depend on each other and help each other out, meaning that they were willing to face the consequences of this choice. theres probably more to it, but this is all i've got. im not very sure abt the 2 moons, though. i think it represents the different choices they made. if u have ever watched flash, the future changes based on which choice u make. it also has to do w/ multiverses and stuff (hope i got that right, i havent watched flash in such a long time). stays theorize that the 2 moons represent 2 different worlds, perhaps 1 world, or future, where they took the bus and another where they took the car. this was rlly bad but i hoped it helped. im not the most caught up on theories, this is just what i've read so far.

@@CoolEditz_3 oh I once commented this on other reaction channel but he maybe didn't notice it, I screen captured this comment because there's no copy paste in YT so I typed it and I was so exhausted anyways, we'll start now I hope you will read this even though it's long :) [Based of what I understood from the MV and lyrics and teasers: (I've posted this in other places too)] In the first teaser, they are quite happy and bubbly and have to intention of taking the bus to "new world". And then the screen is split in 2 showing two different action. The driver's tattoo seems a little suspicious. When they get inside the bus, we see a happy Jeongin and a kinda worried Hyunjin. The MV starts with them not taking the bus as shown in the teaser. However, they seem bright and assured they made the right choice. Only Hyunjin seems hesitant, his smile kinda fades away and he walks a little behind the other boys, doubting their choice. In the first part of the choreo, you can see two moons in the sky which can be a symbol of two things: a magnificent holiday or a total unhappiness. They find their ride, an old truck. We see Felix and Hyunjin together and by my interpretation: Felix is sure and excited about their choice while Hyunjin is not. The lyrics in this scene reflect that: Felix represents the outer conviction and bravado one has when making a decision, while Hyunjin represents the inner insecurities and fears. Later, the boys realize that the trip wouldn't be as easy as they thought cause they are racing with time to try and arrive at the location before they run out of fuel. The mood changes. However, Felix remains enthusiastic, excited trying to get a better view of the scenery but Hyunjin (still worried) irritably pulls him back, building pressure in the process. Their plans completely change when they see that the road to their destination has been blocked. They are in the middle of nowhere, without enough fuel to go back.The mood changes. However, Felix remains enthusiastic, excited trying to get a better view of the scenery but Hyunjin (still worried) irritably pulls him back, building pressure in the process. Their plans completely change when they see that the road to their destination has been blocked. They are in the middle of nowhere, without enough fuel to go back.A map on the ground reveals that there is a breach in the fence, making the boys pile up in the van again and proceeding onwards on their journey. As they drive off, and aerial view of the bus is shown as if someone is watching them. Night falls and the boys grow tired, especially Minho, who has been driving for hours. Jisung spots their destination out of the window and smiles, believing that they would reach there in no time. The vehicle then stops cause of a flat tire and the boys are utterly stranded, which gives them some minutes to reflect: Jeongin assuring Hyunjin that they aren't angry at him and Minho comforting a guilty Felix (he was the one who decided to ride the truck and not bus). Something approaches from a distance and it's the bus they could have taken. For the first time, we can see what I could've been like: peacefully asleep without a care. They are given the chance to ride the bus again but they kinda realize that something was wrong. In the bus they looked peaceful, too peaceful to be exact, as if someone with nefarious intentions is watching them. They quickly run away from the bus down to the field to escape from the people watching them (probably trying to kidnap/get rid of them). (add: note, this can be interpreted as a continuation of their District 9 MV) As they finally escape, Hyunjin is laying alone on the grass, wracked with sorrow and shame for being the one that wanted to get on the bus (and potentially get them all in danger). (not the truck because it Felix's choice) The other boys gathered around him with smiles in their faces, reassuring him that they don't have hard feelings towards him. As they walk away in the middle of nowhere, they have the lost the opportunity to reach a new world, but as long as they have each other it's all okay. A key lies alone in the pond. Possibly a new key to a new world, which means there is still hope for them. By connecting this MV to the Miroh MV, I'm guessing the people supposedly watching them in this MV, might be related to the "politicians" in the beginning of Miroh, where Stray Kids bring the revolution. Also the bus driver is in fact one of the actors that played one of the politicians in Miroh. This is just my interpretation and theory behind the MV, os there's nothing for sure. And also as a whole album, I suppose "Yellow Wood" is based on the poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost, because the first track on the album is also called "Road Not Taken". Furthermore, the meaning of the poem is about a person having to choose between two roads. "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood" and the speaker is torn between which road is the best choice. Just like the boys are in this MV, where we also see a yellow tree standing in the middle. credits to (yt username): *amelancholic* (For me, this is the most accurate theory I read so far)

okay so here's the tea: Side Effects is one of the most genius but underrated tracks in the industry and here's why it's a masterpiece; this song tells about side effects of growing up and troubles youth is struggling with portrayed in such meaningful lyrics; "honestly, i'm so scared, i threw myself in with trust, but why am i being swayed? i put my trust in me, but why am i hurting?" "wait a second, something's off, my vision is getting blurry, why doesn't it end? my head hurts" and how much of an impact it has"i swallow pills called baseless confidence" "everything is changing, why am i being coloured?" they point out how we struggle with inner insecurities, fight for putting an end to pointless judgemental behaviours and being moulded by the society and troubles that following your own path must endure. in the chorus you can hear names of the 'side effects' youth goes through spoken in distorted vocals, being described as "common", which proves that often adults are careless about mental and physical diseases we go through;; "Common side effects include: nervousness insomnia nausea agitation anxiety vision problems psychosis dizziness headaches weight loss" the vocals do creep out but i think it's absolutely genius. it's true that the hard EDM genre of this song can not be pleasant to a common ear, however the message of the track is undoubtedly crucial to know about when we discuss it. the way its goes around till the end also implies that it will never stop and young people will continue to struggle unless something is done if you read this all, preach you ♡ AND CHECK THEIR COMEBACK WHEN IT'S OUT!

this is one if not my favourite track from Stray kids, its so underrated but it is such a motivational song and gets me hyped up everytime I hear it also I love the sound of Felix's voice in this song (Felix is my bias).

The song was basically about side effects / consequences of making a choice. What you heard in the chorus was the common side effects of medicine and they're making that comparison between taking a pill and making a choice. The music video also portrays that. The split screen you saw was the two choices they had to choose from staying on the bus or getting off and going to the ROAD NOT TAKEN. While the whole video shows the consequences they faced when they chose to take the road less travelled by. The two moons represent the two choices. They already revealed a general storyline of their MVs in their video called Prequel : Highlight Reel but I suggest watching it after you're done with their discography or at least with all their MVs for you to understand at least a little in the video. Also PLEASE SUPPORT THEIR UPCOMING COMEBACK THIS JUNE 17. Love your reaction !!~

they took the "road not taken", hence the directionless feel to it. and they're feeling anxious since they're not sure where theyre going anymore. that comfortable splitscreen is a "what couldve been" if they chose to comfortably ride the "standards". but even if their car broke down, they still run to wherever they might arrive at. Hyunjin is like protagonist who feels the anxiety, cautiousness, and the one who actually feels the headache. the silence and the him laying down is like his "breakdown" so the other members picked him up... in a way it's like helping him and they leave as a "team", no one gets left behind kind of thing. that's my take, along with some interpretations ive read from co-stays

Yes Levanter!!! Such an amazing song. They have an English version of this song too but I actually really like the English version equally to the Korean one! Lyrically it’s pretty accurate and sounds natural which I feel like not all English versions of kpop songs do. So I recommend reacting to both the Korean and English versions bc they have different sounds but are both really good!!

This song is about choices in life, after they ignored the bus & chose to take the road not taken in kpop, make their own unique music, they kind of going through hard time because the the choice they opted for they are facing side effects! That's why they show the other possibility of taking the bus & following the kpop norms, in that case they would have been more comfortable sleeping instead of running to their goal ! My own theory so dunno if it makes sense ♡

11:59 Tbh, it is just two universe. In beginning of the video, they can get onto bus but they don’t and they chose their own part with that van. They chose road that others don’t choose. The fact that the road is not chosen by others, they have nobody to help them. They have only themselves and their members. This song is about even if you choose your own part, you will even get Side Effects from it. That the scene where they are on bus was Other universe. They can go comfortably to their destination but they don’t want to be like others so they chose road not taken. That’s why, they were suffered from side effects. In Skz storyline, there are two universes. You can know if there is two moons. Two moons appear on Side effects, LEVANTER and Double Knot.

So they have 3 albums called Ćle which is translated to "Key" from french iirc and keys open the next chapter basicly, all of their albums are connected to eachother like a movie (moons in the beginning for example are also part of the story and seen in other albums)

I don't know much about stray kids, but my theory is that they tried to get away from antidepressants (representing their car) and as soon as they couldn't control their anxiety, the car was stopped and the had to go back. Then the other bus came to save them, notice how they were all sleeping soundly and it looked very comfortable? That bus probably represented the antidepressants, and how at ease they felt with it because the can't stop

I don't know how deep you plan on going into K-Pop, but I feel that Seventeen is an essential part of K-Pop that you wouldn't regret looking into! They're a 13 member group (I know, I know, that's a lot XD i'll explain momentarily), and they are known as really amazing dancers. Their vocals and rapping are amazing as well, but they're primarily known for dance. They're called Seventeen because there are 13 members, 3 units (Vocal, rap, perfomance), and 1 team. (13+3+1=17). I would recommend Don't Wanna Cry first. It's their most popular song and has a chainsmokers vibe :) I know you're extremely busy with other groups, so I'm just mentioning Seventeen for the future, or just if you'd like :) I love your reactions! They're so genuine!
