I think I’ve watched almost every Tuko talks show since I discovered the show a year ago. Most stores have moved me to tears. However, this story made me numb. At some point I thought I was going to throw up because of the numbness. I couldn’t even cry. That’s how numb I was. There are a lot of things I want to tell Phylis if I had a chance to see her in person. But the most important one is to tell her that SHE IS VERY VERY BRAVE. Her perpetrators (including her parents) tried to mess up her soul but they NEVER touched her spirit. Her spirit is alive and well. No one can remember and narrate such an ordeal and still stay sane. I am so glad that her suicide attempts never worked. God has a bigger plan for her here on earth. The second thing I would like to tell her is that with all the tragedies she has endured since she was born, Jesus has always been with her. He has NEVER left her. EVER. Let her run to Jesus and she will see what He will do for her. God is about to turn her life around. Not only will she be a testimony for the glory of God, but she will also help many many many other broken people. She will be a place of hope for many. God is about to use her. He will replace all her tears with authentic laughter from this day forward. And the third thing I would say is that she is such a BRAVE, wonderful and GREAT mom. No one should ever take that away from her. The forth thing I would like to tell her is that I prayed for her and I will continue to pray for her. I put her and her kids at the foot of the throne of God and He has just picked her up. May she never forget the very many people who are praying for her. I also want her to know that a lot of people around the world LOVE her and love her courage. Lastly, THANK YOU Lyn!!! The only thing I can say is that may the almighty God bless you, and the whole Tuko talks team and may He give you even a bigger platform than this because of your heart. Since i started watching Tuko news,i have never shade tears. But this one, it's worth my tears. I know i'm not alone on this one. I'm driver,but this ones,they don't deserve to be on our roads. The OCS, at Emali police station should be questioned. Why didn't he offer, Phyllis and her children with transport, and he has Government vehicle at his station, and he has the capacity to do so?. About the doctors, they should have considered, Phyllis case, since she had an OB. Sh 500 should not have been an obstacle to her medication, regarding her case. Those doctors should have reasoned with her. For the parents, they should stand with there children's, regardless of what they have put them through. Lynn Ngugi make serious follow up, on this story. If that track was coming from Namanga border, i think there is data at border of this monsters. So the responsible institutions should start from there.

I watched the two parts of this story yesterday, crying and so mad and stressed by the pain Shiru has gone through. My husband came from work and found me crying, I couldn't explain the reason as to why I was crying, he still don't know why I was so disturbed and mad throughout the night, I just wish I could help this lady financially, I wish I could delete all the bad memories she's had. One thing I kept telling myself through out the interview is that, "this gal is so beautiful." I just pray that she heals, gets help financially, get peace and joy, God is able and since she trusts in Him, then the new morning has come Shiru, DO NOT BE AFRAID, FOR THE LORD IS WITH YOU AND YOUR KIDS. May God give you an angel of a husband who'll accept you and be the loving family that u never had. Dear God, remember this lady please in Jesus name.

But it’s not parents who plant the seed of rejection. It’s the devil. Back in 2011-2014. I really struggled with the spirit of rejection. My Mum used to see me and want to vomit,my siblings and family hated me. I would contribute an idea to a conversation and everyone would attack me. I tarmacked looking for a job for 4 longs years. Nothing worked. I contemplated suicide but I had a son who I could not imagine him alone in this cruel world I was living in without anyone to protect him. But God sought my heart and he sent me people to woo me to salvation till I gave up and gave my life to Christ and the first thing I was delivered from is from the spirit of rejection. And in turn I got a lot of favor…upto date,my life has been a living testimony of the goodness of Jesus.

This story reminds me of the story of Joseph and David in the bible. Am not good at bible stories but one thing I know is that despite all that, they all came up strong regardless of all the rejection they endured from their family members. Phillis, you are a strong woman and never for once think that you are rejected. You are loved by so many people and most importantly you are loved by God. Jeremiah 29:11 says for I know the plans I have for you, the plans for prosperity and not disaster, to give you a future and hope. You are indeed a beautiful and amazing woman.
