I remember when NWA first hit the scene, they changed rap forever. IMO one of, if not the, most influential group in the genre. To me, No Vaseline set the bar for diss tracks. NWA dissed him first, which wasn't a good move since Cube wrote most of their hits. Biggest lie told by Jerry Heller, "Ren's as good of a lyricist as Cube maybe better".

No Vaseline is a response to a couple songs where NWA took shots at him. On 100 miles and running Dre says “Started with 5 but 1 couldn’t take it so now it’s 4 because the 5th couldn’t make it” Then on Real niggaz Dre said “ I’m glad we got rid of Benedict Arnold” And on Alwayz N 2 something Dre also said 123 then I seen a nigga hoping the fence and it was Ren on the MFN trigga. He got in the Benz and said Dre I was speaking to yo bish O’Shea

Eazy-E wasn't a rapper or writer but he learned n contributing to the music We can agree to disagree on this. Arabian Prince was already established in the rap game n understood the point system on getting writers credit and getting his Royalties that's why he sued Ruthless Records n Won.

@@curtisstrong8958 no they didnt, NO Vaseline came out in 1991 and in the same year Eazy made a skit with Yella about Cube, and the same year again they made a an album (Temporary Insanity) and a diss to Cube which was 5x stronger than Real Muthaphuckkin G's. Eazy's got a lot of things hidden in the vault.
