They DIDN'T WANT my HELP - UNTIL I said "It's FREE"

I've had this yard on my radar for a while, but no one ever seemed to be home while I was in the area. Today I saw a car home, so I made sure to knock on the door. The homeowners seemed like they didn't want my help, until I offered to do the work FOR FREE. The yard wasn't in terrible shape, but the EDGES were completely pouring into the street and over the sidewalks. This was a corner lot, so it felt like there were MILES OF EDGES. Your work is meticulous and the improvement is amazing. I would have packed that hole with the grass clippings as they would compost down to help fill it with soil. Some unsuspecting pedestrian may break an ankle in there! Great job and great video!

@@TKLawns im not sure, but you should be able to call the city street commissioner and tell them there is a pedestrian risk that needs a warning cone and a fill in fix. Get the call on record in case someone does get hurt, so theres proof of "neclect after acknowledgement" if they fail to fix it or cone it.

Take pride in your home, neighborhood, community and the planet. You are setting a good example for others with every house you help clean up. Most people do not bother to do more than cut their grass. Edging the walkways, driveways and curbing makes a huge difference. Trimming up trees and bushes gives a more finished look.

My thought was to get a big tarp and either make room in your truck or trailer to put the clippings onto that. Maybe save yourself a little bit of $$$ on garbage bags. Your work is so enjoyable to watch . You're so precise and tidy - I love the way you do a single section completely, before moving to the next. And you're tidy and neat in your clothing and appearance, as well. There's another channel with a very devoted group of followers who works in the same way, completing one area then the next until the whole is complete. When I saw you, I subbed immediately! I will try to let some of the other regulars on that channel know about you. Now, about that hole... I was heartily offended on your behalf. The homeowner knows that hole is there and he didn't say a word. You could have broken equipment or, much worse, been injured mowing over that. Thank God for the passerby or neighbor who let you know in time! I wouldn't do the backyard for these people after they put you at risk that way. Who knows what's back there that they won't tell you about! Doesn't seem safe! Anyway, beautiful job!

Beautiful job ! I live in the country, and when I have a hole in the yard, I use grass clippings and mulched leaves to fill it in. Solves two problems, gets rid of debris and fills the hole, after a while it's dirt. Keeps the grandkids from breaking an ankle running in the yard. Love your videos !

You still do a wonderful job without trash bags-NO clumps of dirt thrown onto the lawn like the others do-To Me-You should be the #1 rated free lawn Transformation. You will get there-I stopped watching some of the others that frustrated me so, call it OCD whatever....then they would keep running over it like that would make the clump disappear....I know the soil is good for the lawn yak yak in some cases they could throw it under bushes or trees....when doing the curbs they just throwing it in the same place. Are they that pressed for time.....

You missed to weed eat a few of the weeds growing between the cement crevices on the foot path, but generally, very satisfied with the overall lawn transformation. Grateful with the neighbor who pointed out to you about the hole in the yard so you can avoid it to mow it with your lawn mower and use the weed eater, instead.
