I was 11 years old and went to play at our neighborhood swimming pool. I could not swim. I decided to go home and put on my terry robe, glasses and sandals. Someone pushed me into the deep end. I was just standing at the 8 ft floor of the swimming pool. Kids were laighing and pointing at me. I talked to God and told him that I didnt want to go out like this. My friend verified that I came straight up as if someone picked me out and then put me on the side of the pool. I had been down there for minutes but wasnt coughing or anything when I came out. The kids just looked at me. The lifeguard came to me and said "I thought you all said she was drowning!" I stood up and went home. I believe an angel picked me up out of the pool! My good friend verified all of this 5 years ago. I am now in my 60's. That was 50+ years ago.

I was about 7/8 years old, my mother had a salon business on this side of town where I had friends. This little girl asked my mom could I go swimming with her, my mom said no because, she knew I couldn't swim. The little girl said she couldn't swim either and we were just gonna put our feet in the water. We did that but, I was watching people swimming so I thought it would be OK if I just jumped in from the lower part of the ladder. I was in 6ft when I went under, I stepped outside of myself and I could see me thrashing about when to the right of me I saw a glowing figure that reached out to me. I reached out to take the hand. When I came to myself, I was standing and holding on to the ladder, I swung myself around and crawl up the ladder. When I told my mother what happened, she look at me very scared and said, I knew I shouldn't have left you go and that I was protected. I can still see that image, and I'm 64 years old today. My son was just a little baby at the time, I love the water but I am very sensitive to the spirit realm. I didn’t go in the water… I could feel the eerie atmosphere and felt like we were being watched from all around. It was so strong I started asking the history of the lake. I was stationed in Knoxville, TN. and one weekend we decided to go white water rafting, in a river we found not far from there, I got caught in a mini whirlpool and I ended up going under and i couldn't get up out of the water, then a little Whyte boy popped up next to me and was talking to me and asked me if I loved the Lord, I nodded my head and motioned him for help, he got behind me and grabbed me and told me to calm down, its not my time to go yet, I had work to do. They dragged me up unto the shore. When my friends got to me, I was still coughing up water, I told them to check on the little boy, they asked me what boy, I told them the one dragged me out of the water. They told me there is no one but me. I argued with them, described the boy, one of my friends told to look there was only my foot prints on the wet ground. I was shocked they thought I must had hit my head on something. But I didn't hit my head on anything. That was back in June 2003.

I can co-sign that there are lake entities. I had a similar experience when I was 3 in a lake in Georgia. I believed this entity was my actual mother b/c the love that was being emitted made me feel an intense love for the female entity. I wanted to stay w/her in the bottom of the lake. But she said No and swam me back up near the surface and pushed me into the sunlight. My Aunt pulled me up and I protested and tried running back into the lake. Soon after that my mother died. But the lady in the lake returned to me in my dreams through out my childhood and kept me going. There were a few physical manifestations when I got much older. Some recognize that energetic presence as kin to Mama Watta or Yemaya or other designated label for living entities of good will that live in the portions of the planet covered in water. They are intelligent multidimensional forces that have free will to live, act and react in their best interest.

I have a similar story of something that happened to me but it was the jersey shore not Lake Lanier. I was thrown into the ocean by a person who didn’t realize I couldn’t swim. I actually gave up underwater. The water/waves were so heavy, I just felt defeated. Suddenly, I felt hands upon me & someone lifted me up & set me on my feet. I looked around but no one…absolutely NO ONE was near me. Everyone was engaged into their own activities unaware that I almost drowned. My dad would have never forgiven himself if I had drowned because he didn’t know I couldn’t swim. I never told him what happened because knowing what could’ve happened would have broke him.

She was over 10 blocks from home and from being hit there was a gash in the back of her head and she mad it home and not a drop of blood had even trickled down her neck. She said he walked her inside the house and told her he had to go but she is safe now. She go to her mom and tell her what happened and thats when she felt the pain at the back of her head and the blood started trickling down her neck and her mom rushed her to the hospital and my mom said they drove past where she was hit and there was people still there t the police and ambulance. Her bike was still in the street and her blood was on the ground from her head. Both her and my grandmother both said that everyone was looking confused because they fidnt know what happened to my mother or where she went to and my grandmother stopped and told the police that she has her daughter that was hit and that is her bike and taking her to the hospital.

@@NoseyNuNu i’m from New Orleans so I’ve gotten goosebumps at a couple of places in my life but never not once have I had any bad experience or bad feeling at Lake Lanier. My church go every year is actually pretty fun so I wouldn’t let these stories stop you from enjoying yourself because none of these stories tell the full truth about Lake Lanier. There are literal different parts of the lake. There’s a beach part that isn’t deep at all. Literal babies stand up in this part near Margaritaville . There’s a waterpark section that is just for kids with floatables literally in the middle of the lake that you have to swim to to get on top of. And there are parts that are for boats that are of course deeper and yes, people have drowned trying to swim across the entire lake cause there are trees and seaweed underneath the water that people can get caught on and that’s why its advised to always have a life jacket on but literally kids that are five years old and up are there all the time with their lifejackets on. I’m not saying no one has never had a bad experience or feelings at Lake Lanier. I’m just saying it is not everyone’s experience actually most of our experiences are good that’s why it’s still open and stays packed.

Jet ski’d and boated on lake Lanier in the late 90’s (99’) fell in the water once off jet ski and instantly felt something pulling on my left ankle. Thought it was my friend joking around. Eeriest feeling I’ve ever had when I surfaced and they were still on the ski wondering why I took so long to come up. I think the only thing that saved me was the buoyancy of my life jacket as I am slightly built. Never returned to the lake afterwards it was that frightening and I had never even heard the history at that point. Intuition and the energy I felt told my 14 year old self something was very very off about it. Once I got back on the boat I remember the feeling of relief and never wanting to go near the water again. Lake Lanier isn’t a joke. My uncle used to have a lake house on lake Lanier. As a kid I loved getting to visit that lake house and we would go swim in the lake from time to time… I never knew the history of that lake until years later, as an adult, because I am not from Georgia, but I am positive that every single time I swam in that lake, I felt highly uncomfortable and it always felt eerie. I remember one summer, with all my relatives visiting his lake house, I got to ride on an inner tube with my cousins, being dragged by a jet ski.. it was all fun until my cousin driving took a sharp turn and the tube flipped with my two cousins and I on it… the one driving the jet ski was gone for maybe 10 minutes while I was just floating there in the lake, hoping I wouldn’t get abandoned.. I was maybe 11… I did everything I could to just stay calm and not panic, which I’m grateful I could remain calm, because I was honestly terrified that something was going to drag me under and that would be it. I’m 28 now and moved to Georgia in 2019… I’ve been to the lake to visit a few times but I don’t go in..

Oh my goodness! In both stories those were people who had evil intentions. I’m so glad you’re both alive to tell your stories
