I remember when I would take my dads 60 Dodge Dart , pull the hub caps, turn the torsion bars down and headed to the drags. He never said anything so I guess I got away with it. I'm 80 now and this brings back great memories. Thanks

Too funny, I did the same thing with my dad's 64 Chevelle....one time I forgot to put the hubcaps back on, mom and dad went to church the next day, ate at the Circle Restaurant afterwards, (if any of you lived in Portsmouth VA you knew that famous place) went to see his mom, came home at dark.....and he never noticed....or did he...lol....got those puppies back on quickly....

When in school back in the 50s and 60s the farm boys would turn their cars into racing machine. They are the ones that came up with these cars. It wasn't the factories. It was the farm boys.
