As a boot nerd that have been messing with tungsten powders, swerve zones, adaptive studs, control zones, and so on for my entire life, the wave ignitus really captured my attention. And when i put it on, it really surprised me!! I mean, for a boot that upper's is full of gimmicks, it's unexplainably comfortable, and light! So i gathered my courage to order the made in japan models, it's game over. I absolutely don't care anymore how awesome adidas or nike or puma's boots, you taste how made in japan morelias, you can never go back. I absolutely commend you reviewers who can objectively review boots after wearing those mizunos.

I absolute love that they brought these back. What a boot! I do wish they had remade the WI1 or WI2. They have upgraded the synthetic on the remakes, so that's a nice touch.

Go to some really old videos and you’ll here him say “in my usual size: 9 US.” Then for a while he didn’t say his size and then he started saying “in my usual size 9.5 US.” I don’t know how that happened or if it happens to all of us because I remember being a size 9.5 in vapor 6 & 7 but size 10 in vapor 10 and after.

Be careful when buying Mizuno boots made in Japan. Because you’ll never want to wear anything else again and at least in my experience they are hard to get at times. Could be the pandemic delays but I was checking religiously and finally they had another pair in stock.

the silicon rubber on the lace help it grip the lace holes so it does not come loose as easily as some of the press-cut nylon ones. Ecco has similar lace concept and they do work. I have the original and Ignitus 1 so a welcoming sight to see them come around again.
