A few years ago I felt sick. I had my son’s father take me to the ER. It was during the time of the pandemic. I was coughing up blood and thought I had started my menstrual. I called my parents while at the ER. They came. After a few hours they called me back to a room. I gave a urine sample to find out I was pregnant. My mother was in the room when the nurse confirmed. Her face was in utter disgust. My father told me having a baby with my son’s father would be disgraceful. I went back to the ultrasound room to find out my baby had a weak heartbeat and I was potentially experiencing a miscarriage. My mom told me it obviously isn’t meant to be and I didn’t need a baby. I was 25, with my BA at 22 on a full ride academic scholarship. Had a job and lived with my child’s father who I had been with for years. She pushed for me to get an ab*rtion. I also was told my baby had fluid around his head where his brain would be. I got a second opinion after God wouldn’t let me go through with it. My baby was born healthy. He will be 3 this year and means the world to me. God gave me a gift.

I believe some people don't like to see people happy because they are going through hard times and don't feel that same type of happiness. I went through the same thing. I had my first child at 42 yrs old due to multiple miscarriages, so when i was blessed to carry my one and only child I talked about my pregnancy daily and people hated it. They just don't like to see others happy because they're miserable.

I have a friend who wanted a child for 10+ years and was having challenges conceiving so she was envious of any woman who conceived or had children to the point it even angered her at times. She did FINALLY have her own and that child challenges her and her husband on a regular basis. He will be 6 in May. Listen! @Donisha! this is so upsetting because I lost 2 children 😢 My daughter was 20 yrs old died due to senseless gun violence and My first born was 32 he passed away in my home..Its a blessing to talk about your kids! People get mad at me sometimes because I still talk about them in death. I had a daughter when I was 42 yrs old and she will be 10 yrs old soon. I brag about my 17 year old music prodigy son! He's been playing the Saxophone since age 9 and attends School for Performing Arts . I WILL CONTINUE TO TALK ABOUT MY KIDS IN LIFE AND AFTER...MY ANGELS 🕊️🤲🏽🙏🏽 I LOVE YALL!! LIFE IS PRECIOUS
