What I liked was the touching love scenes of X,inger and Wolfie.but No bed scenes between Prince Bo and Princess Ma except the one that didn't fit the bill.kind of spoiled the love between them Also I dislike Sad endings like the Wolf had.Wolfie and Xinger should have ended as Emperor and Empress with a Prince and Princess.I just don't believe a man and woman wanting to be married wouldn't make love in bed especially if she's his Consort like in Wolf when they are such soulmates.

Darren Wang was brilliant! Captivating in every scene and the more you watch the hotter he gets. Definitely did not get sidetracked by 2nd lead at all. Wolfie all the way. Hopeful this opens doors for him to be in more big budget historical cdramas with so much range in acting skills! Well done Darren, your character brought me to tears in many scenes and I’m not a crier.. even watching past dramas that was also excellent and deeply emotional.

I've always been a fan of TaLu. However after The Wolf, he has set my standards so high for an actor in dramas. Now no one even comes close to his portrayal and acting skills. I'm glad he's not the white, pale, porcelain, skinny and feminine feature actor. He's very manly, handsome, mysterious masculinity, and great personality. Also I don't believe it's all about what he chose to do as his projects, a lot of it had to do with censorship and when it gets released. That's not the actors control on when his work gets released to audiences. To me he's always been popular because I tend to focus on his talent then popularity.

I don't really cry for dramas to be honest especially historical. The last time i felt so emotional was watching Denglun die ( Ashes of Love) but this fucking drama destroyed me completely. I started crying in ep 8 i think and now the ending. I have no hope for season 2 but damn. I am emotionally torn and will probably never recover. I have to praise the actors especially LiQin cause i was so shock at her character development. I've seen her in Princess Agent and Joy of life and it really shows her talent. Her crying just breaks my heart. My absolute fav actress Darren Wang definitely deserves all the love and attention because of his portrayal of Lord Bo and Xiao zhan play chi chong so well and really is the best 2nd lead. It might not be plot driven but the acting definitely carry the entire drama from the beginning to end Fuck i almost forget the Ost All the soundtrack are damnn so good.
