I really love that foreigners visiting PH have no issues with communication with the locals. I think this is one of our advantage aside from our inherent warmth and hospitality. Salamat Jared for sharing your experience. More power sayo!

Its nice to watch videos of sir Jared specially speaking in Tagalog but since he travel in cebu he need to adjust to new dialect which is visaya or cebuano. hope he could come to iloilo and encounter another dialect which is Ilongo. Amping kanunay sa travel and God Bless you always.

Visayan tidbits😊 Inom = (should be pronounced in a straight tone) = is to drink something in a liquid form Tagay u-na = (tagay is also in a straight tone but need to stress on the first syllable of una) = means someone is offering you a drink especifically an alcoholic beverages Na hubog na = someone who got the effect of taking too much alcohol

Bisaya are trilingual by nature, they also need to learn Filipino(from Tagalog), as both Bisaya and Tagalog are not Mutually intelligible. then english as this is also the medium of instruction across the country besides tagalog.
