Damn Dubs, I went to juvenile camp, I went to Y.A and then went on to have 5 CDC numbers and spent over 33 years in prison and I never learned anything about politics, I was in Soledad in 1986 to 1988 and a few other level 3’s and mostly level 2&1s but I never liked nor got involved with politics, I just did what was expected of me, no more no less, back when I was 19 on my first term the Legends didn’t ask us to do their work, they did it themselves. My dad and older brothers always told me to stay away from politics and they were all in prison too. I listen to you tell these stories and im glad I didn’t get involved. It’s so easy to get yourself in trouble with the fellas. Thanks for sharing your schooling with us.

One thing I notice in your stories that is reflected in your statement “you know what’s expected of you”, is that in a lot of cases you can predict what people will do because at the end of the day there really is only one right answer. You end up doing what is expected of you. And if you don’t, you know what’s coming, so at the end of the day you haven’t escaped shit anyway. I say this because I recognize that smart righteous people can do everything right, and thru no fault of their own find themselves in situations with predictable bad outcomes.

It was king Herod and it was his Brother’s wife’s daughter who ask for John the Baptist head on a platter because king Herod was throwing a party and the girl danced for King Herod and his guess (Probably in a sexual way) so king Herod said “I will give you anything you want even up to half of my kingdom” so the girl went to her mother and the mother told her to ask for John the Baptist head on the platter! Why ??? Because John the Baptist was speaking out against King Herod for taking his brother’s wife for himself because it was against Jewish law ! So Herod’s brother’s wife hated John the Baptist but Herod feared John because the people seen John for who he was “A Prophet of the Living God” but because Herod made a vow in front of all his guess in a time when your word was bond Herod had John Beheaded ! Just some factual information from a bible scholar lol

This story reminds me of a classmate of mine from middle school. He started gangbanging in the late 80’s. He always wanted to be a gangster. In county jail he killed his cellie for an organization. Later he went to prison, moved up in his organization as he put in more work. In the 90’s he got validated and became a big homie. Unfortunately, some other homies in his organization politicked against him and they put a green light on him. He ended up locking it up. I’m sure you know many stories like this one. You should tell more of them as a cautionary tale. The youngsters need to hear this story often with many examples because everyone thinks they are the exemption to the rule.
