I have never seen you before but this showed up on my feed and I clicked on it but wow it definitely resonates! My ex situationship is a cancer with avoidant tendencies. He doesn’t owe me money but I definitely was more of a giver energetically in the relationship. I also know he was not happy with his professional and financial situation and has been working on straightening some things out there. I definitely caught him way off guard when I cut him off completely somewhat suddenly a couple months ago. It would be very interesting if he were to call or reach out. I do miss him and hope he’s actually changed his life and intentions but I’ll be pretty apprehensive about it.

Oh my… wow. I kinda knew something was up. I mean I did suspected about the financial issues or job related. If he did said something to me in first place instead of running away and being open up to tell me what’s going on then I would have helped him to get a job cuz I happen to be a business owner of a second small business that I could recruit him and help him to get back on his feet 🦶. I understand the feelings of embarrassment with the jobless or financial issues. I would be happy if he finally delivers a real promises instead of empty handed promises to see the true changes in him to do better. There was one who impacted me financially, he could have at least support me that way, because he didn't support me in the ways that I needed (emotionally, mentally and physically). I never wanted him to do something he didn't want to do, so yeah, he left me holding the baby literally and metaphorically. He basically said it was all my fault and said some really hurtful things. Later, when I tried to tell him what it had been like, he was very condescending, you don't say "the more you do, the more you want to do" to someone who is stretched to their limit. He can see his son, but he can forget about seeing me, unless he wants to cop a knee to his groin!
