Everyone knows that the university of Montana has been on a huge decline in education for a while. Montana state is the superior school when it comes to most subjects, especially stem subjects. Montana state is one of the only reasons Montana in still open, a whole third of my tuition dollars went to saving your school. You’re welcome

Montana State University has an enrollment twice that of UM. Montana State is also ranked higher in academics by every publication out there. MSU graduates make considerably more $ upon graduation. Incoming SAT and ACT scores are higher at MSU, and its acceptance rate is lower. By every measure, MSU is the flagship and UM is the community college. Idiot.

MSU enrolls twice the number of students as UM. MSU’s incoming students have higher ACT and SAT scores. MSU’s acceptance rate is significantly lower. On average, MSU grads earn higher incomes upon graduation. MSU research expenditures dwarf those of UM. MSU enrolls more MUS merit scholars than all other universities and colleges in Montana combined. MSU = flagship. UM = backup plan community college.
