For anyone wondering Halo Studios has renewed its Havoc License. For the those who don’t know it’s the plug in that has been used for Halo’s physics since CE. It can be used in Unreal engine 5. Makes me feel better about the engine swap.

Tbh, this wasn't even on my radar, but your relentless enthusiasm for this is infectious and now has me excited. I'm feeling nostalgic towards the pure chaos of the original Dark Zone in Division 1 and the unmatched online gameplay of GOW3, COD4 & Black Ops.. All I can remember of you playing combat evolved in Australia is throwing yourself off a cliff/waterfall for hours to watch the physics 😂👌

Saved? We heard all these hallow promises from 343/halo studios. Just because you changed your name doesn't fix all the mediocre Halo titles they created. Also a new physics engine doesn't mean you have it figured out either. Show me real evidence of a well made Halo game before you continue to celebrate. Also just because you may be remaking Halo combat evolved doesn't mean you have a win. The ground work is already laid for you. I need to see a well made Halo game that I didn't play more then 20 years ago. They should all be fired after the campaign of Halo 5, and the whole package of Halo infinite.

I wish they would make an arbiter story in halo one to see what he went through before he got punished at the beginning of halo 2 that would be cool. Or show what his missions were in halo 3

It’s LONG overdue that there was cause to be excited about Halo. This news is very welcome, the move to unreal is a smart one and has wide ranging positive implications. Now they just need to make good on it, revert to type with Halo. Go old school and put out a Halo game that feels classic, but new at the same time

Look, as a major Halo fan, they're off to a good start. People saying it's just 343 rebranded don't know what they're talking about. Many people from 343 were let go, priorities shifted, the studio was reorganized, and the philosophy and entire future gameplan has been drastically altered. Using this Project Foundry reveal was practically the perfect way to get things started as a new studio to garner some new excitement for the future of Halo. Some people out there are simply looking for a way to criticize what is now Halo Studios. As long as some of the people working there don't try to change Halo on a fundamental level by infusing their progressive agenda and ideology into it, Halo will be just fine. With big, diverse companies of this size there will always be individuals who have a different way of looking at things than what you agree with---it just comes down to whether or not they can separate their projects from their politics and stick to the already established canon that will determine its future success. Stick to the original style of stories, characters, and settings that made the glory days so memorable Halo Studios - it's really not that hard of a concept to stick to unless you let your ego and ideologic agenda get in the way.

For me 343 halos are not bad but they are just to different from the original core of halo game play and feal In general(different game dressed as halo). Going from halo reach ( my favourite) to halo 4 was a shock. Now all halo games are so different aspecialy 343 ones and everybody has it's favourite. What I want is "halo reach 2"

They keep trying to make the IP relevant again but all the time and money spent on the recent not so successful FPS games, the strategy games, the now forgotten movie project or on the cancelled tv series could have been invested in new IPs with less bagage and expectations.

Graphics should be secondary to gameplay, Halo hasn't been fun for awhile and I don't trust how all anyone seems to be talking about is "oh it's on Unreal 5 it'll look great" plus are the same people still in charge at Halo that were in charge at 343 bc if so what's really changed?

I think Halo Infinite is a good game, and i enjoy the open world aspect of it, for me it was a breath of fresh air for the series, i love Halo 3 and Reach, and yes bungie killed it with Halo, but making a game that is as good as Halo 3 and Halo Reach"s legacy is something else entirely, i have played so many hours of halo Infinite and im coming back to the game every now and then. the game had a rough start and developers had issues related to the engine, but the game itself is great for what it is. thats my opinion. its not as legendary as Halo 3 or reach but what the hell?

My first Halo game was also Halo Infinite, and I thought it was great! I don't understand the whole nostalgia with such old clunky Halo versions. In some of those old Halo games you can't sprint or even use a scope in other than the sniper rifle 🤷🏽‍♂️. The new grapple tool is a game changer. I sure hope they don't take those away.
