Yes, what Mirko said was correct, because when I remember Moonton's first presentation about the M World, that was the only tournament that recognized as a World Championship tournament. I haven't heard anything from MSC like that, except how the coaching staff and players prepare as a team and how to prepare for the upcoming M World Championship.

And that's a fact...but we can't blame those malaysian calling SRG world champs because they were just over proud..its their first time winning an international tournament..let them enjoy the moment and dream what they wanna dream...

they call it World Champions maybe because of MSC's big peize pool, some Malaysian fans even said there in the comment I read that "Yes, PH is the one that remained standing at the top of M-World. But even if you combine it with all that prize pool from M2-M5 is still not in the prize pool won by SRG. this is the Malaysian Era now" I just laughed when I read it hehehe
