Only to solve his issue and NOT kiss Margret. Which was the whole reason he went back in the first place.

My headcanon is that they did get the whole wheat donut, but they moved so fast that the whole wheat donut merged with all the other donuts that also got merged from the speed and turned it all into double glazers. It's a weird head canon of mine, but I can't help but think what happened to the normal donuts because they somehow all turned into double glazers.
