We cruised on the Mardi Gras for our anniversary in 2023. We loved it and barely got off the Ship. Our fave bar was the Brass Magnolia. We had fun bartenders and they had great music there. We thought the food on the Ship was really good.

If you grab a plate in the buffet and get a salad from the salad bar, you can go to Blue Iguana and get just the protein that you want to put on your salad. They used to do taco salads but they stopped a couple years back.

I loved the Mardi Gras last month when I went on it. You get 2 of every appetizer, entree, and dessert and I did at every restaurant we went to! Loved the Italian place. My favorite was the arancini and pesto pistachio pasta. The seafood shack 1lb of shrimp is also amazing and it was only 13$

We just did a Holland America cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam. The food buffet in the Lido lounge and menus in the dining room were fantastic and included in your fare. The buffet had all kinds of fruit, salad, carving stations, pasta, meat, fish, potatoes, rice, breads etc. plus they had ethnic stations, ice cream sundaes, and phenomenal desserts. I can’t believe carnival had such a limited menu.

21:22 I found your comments here to be very interesting about casino smoke, because in Australia we don't have smoking permitted in casinos, land or sea, so if Mardi Gras were to come to Australia, smoking would be prohibited in the casino. It made me look up smoking policy's for Carnival and it does depend on the ship and where it is stationed for the season! I absolutely agree with you that it is disgusting. On Splendor we have to walk through the smoking area (outdoors) to get to Serenity area and I hold my breath as I walk through. also, Noah is the cutest!

I think Carnival did fantastic with their entertainment with the XL class. Celestial Strings was my favorite. I have mixed feelings about center stage, nice area but it seems small for the big production shows. Again, overall loved Mardi Gras and Celebration. Sailed the dream twice ❤

I'd love to see a day in the life of 'Noa"! I have twin 1 year old boys ( just turned 1 last week) and have been wanting to a do a cruise with them sometime in the next 4-8 months or so. Have 2 done cruises (NCL) before, but never with the babies. I'd love to see what you guys pack and what you dont pack (because the cruiseline provides it) as far as supplies, diapers, food items/snacks. How you do naps/sleeping and how she stays entertained through-out the day. I would love to learn more about how to handle babies on a cruise! Thanks! Love your videos!

Make sure at some point you guys check out Street Eats. They are like food trucks and the selection change every day. Fabulous food there. Deck 16 next to the Red Frog Tiki. Also if you want fantastic salad with protein choices, it's at Fresh Express in Serenity. Deck 18... but only sea days and only 12 till 3pm. Enjoy!
