Agree 💯!! The 714 iron line was probably their best ever. I had 712s, so never pulled the trigger on 714s, but it was the last iron line they did in satin. A 714 CB-MB combo could easily stand the test of time!

Neat to see you pick my current fairway wood. It makes a really satisfying sound. The ghost slot is actually in reference to the top slot that you can see better in good light and it's the same shape as the bottom slot. It used to be open in the first version, but new rules required the top being enclosed, or something of that nature, so they covered it with a thin metal shell.

Those putter grips are amazing. It gets your palms facing each other, locks your elbow in and lets you rock your shoulders so easy. Stenson swears by it. I got one on a mallet and tried it. Pretty amazing. Does what it says on the tin.

Great video Pete! Excellent choices one and all. I own the original Rapture (9 deg., Grafalloy ProLite) and absolutely love the performance as well as the looks. I always thought that the "webbing" that's visible in the crown looked very cool and was certainly unique. John Parle I don’t believe it John. I just donated a set to charity. I used them for years but due to having a shoulder op & my swing isn’t as strong I bought a set of of taylormade SLDR’s with a reg shaft. They’re going ok but haven’t got the same punch as the mp32’s. But what I find unbelievable is that nobody wanted them hence giving them to charity. Oh well, gone to a good cause & I hope they find a good owner. Lovely clubs.

I have the Tight Lies 2 - 3,4strong,5,&7 woods steel shaft stiff flex. A bit on the heavy side... Have bought many fairway woods since, still my go to for controlled accuracy. Adams Golf, great clubs, wish they were still around today.

Had a Ping Rapture in 9 degree with an Aldila VS Proto shaft in it that I got used in maybe 2009. Hit a lot of drives that were the straightest bombs in my life. Traded it in at the same shop for a shiny new bauble, what a mistake. Actually went back to see if they still had it in the rack. Couldn’t find it, or the same head/shaft combo. Oh well...

I would look for Callaway RAZR X Forged irons and Callaway 816 Alpha DBD woods. That is what is in my bag and I love them. I have a 60 degree wide sole Multby lob wedge and a 54 degree high bounce Callaway MD4 wedge. Putter is Rife with adjustable head weight.

Love watching these videos just to see what clubs Pete will dig out. Even move amazing when he then trots off to your golf club to try them out. I hope you enjoyed Foxhills and got to play the back nine. The bits of advice I have been given on that front nine are on the par 5 7th hole allegedly from Bernard Hunt when he was the golf pro and that "it's three straight hits". Then as Pete found out to his cost is don't be above the pin on the 9th green - ouch!

Hey Peter, I still play my Callaway X16's!!! They are a fantastic club still, even after 15ish years of use, keeping me around an 8 handicap. I remember being so excited to upgrade when the X20's came out but couldn't hit them nearly as well so I kept the 16's. Should probably look into a new set now though!

I got a full set of mens Pinseeker's there top of the range when I was 8yrs old & still use them 2day bar the woods which I've changed.I love them but there 30yrs old so I must be losing loads of distance surely? Compared 2 newer clubs.In the 30yrs I've had them in think it works out I play about 10 rounds a year & got me 2 a 16 handicap

So I play a 3 wood tight lies TI, 5 wood tightlies version of the one your using in this video, and I just got my hands on a 2009 Adams 14.5 Speedline 9032 TI. Also using a Adams idea tech 4 hybrid. All of the clubs all I absolutely crush and they are unbelievably accurate. I have another Adam clubs but those are by far my favorite and sad they are gone.

Stenson uses the Garsen's. I've sold so many of them, they are a great grip and that is how your hands are "suppose" to be on a putter grip. Takes the wrist's out of the putting stroke

I play the 714 CBs. They are great, I was torn between the blades and the cb, but there is still SO much feel in the CB, and they’re very soft. There’s barely any cavity in the 714cb

Much more toe-hang on any Scotty with a ".5" in the name. That flare-tip hosel has the "extension" of the shaft entering the head a lot closer to the heel. 😍
