Every nation in the world struggles to keep tabs on who is coming into their nation; it is not unique to us. All US political parties (except maybe Libertarians) believe it’s important to know and regulate who is here. Obama was known in immigrant communities as Deporter in Chief. Harris has worked tirelessly to combat the flow of migrants from smart, effective, and creative angles. For example, she went to South America and met with leaders of nations near Venezuela advocating for the huge numbers of Venezuelan asylum-seekers. As a result, countries like Colombia are now supporting Venezuelans who enter their country in ways that make it logical for them to stay there. The flow of Venezuelans coming North has virtually stopped. If we only focus on building a wall, we will never slow illegal immigration. What we will do is promote the sale of saws and ladders and shovels, wasting lots of tax-payer dollars in the meantime on wall repairs while destroying private property and sacred tribal lands, not to mention decimating migrating land animal populations.

I recently saw a YT video of a border agent yelling at a woman not to jump the wall, but she did and fell hard. When he drove around to see where she landed, that border agent didn't even have the decency to check her for a pulse as she laid bleeding from her head. The next deputy to arrive didn't even want to see what had happened, and when the paramedics arrived, the agent quickly made the excuse that he was not a medic, so he couldn't do anything for her. Then, in the comments, everyone was saying it was all her fault, and that's what she gets for coming here illegally, etc, etc. I was the only one to leave a comment of concern, that it only takes 2 fingers to at least check her for a pulse, and I added how nobody showed any concern for her well-being, from the agents on the scene to the comments on YT. It's appalling how the beings that inhabit this planet are so callous.

It is my understanding that the laws were not being enforced. So it was in a state of lawlessness. Without regard for the law. I think that the laws should be enforced because I love my neighbor and do not want harm to come to them. The laws and regulations are to vet people coming into our country. You would not like it if your house and property were over run. You choose who can or can not stay at your house. We in no way should encourage lawlessness. This is what is going on. I do not think it is right. They have knowingly broken the law. Therefore they should face the consequences for doing so. This is the same in all countries of the world. Also there are laws/rules etc for entering the kingdom of God. Is god then not loving for allowing all to enter? Tom Homan was a former police officer, immigration official etc. He believes in following the law. This is a good thing. Not a bad thing. We should not be encouraging lawlessness. All illegals should be removed. They are non law abiding. Now I agree it should be done in as humanely way as possible. There are countries like Poland that allow deadly force to be used against those the try to cross the border illegally.

If you want another example of “love waxing cold” you only need to look at the reaction of 99% of Americans reaction to the murder of the insurance CEO… there’s literally almost no one who has expressed any sympathy for the man who was murdered or his family. The Bible also states to respect the laws of the land. Maybe if we get out of debt, we could afford to help more people. Mexico deports Americans all the time. There are millions of women and children missing crossing through there. You could sponsor a family, help them fill out paperwork and pay the fees to get them neutralized. I don’t think Trump is that dangerous. I think Elon Musk is way more dangerous.

@@kimngandong Todays English is quite different from King James English. The perception HAS been changed. For instance, Jesus said no man is good no not one, but good at the time the bible was written meant pious or righteous and was only used in a religious context. No one at the time said "I feel good today".
