Meta units should be post r6 awakening accompanied by pve group raid based content (its a raid in the story why not an actual live pve raid with groups of people from chat/guild etc) Increase engagement in chat by having people team up Add a monthly shop for raid content for helping players Give reason for us to r6 old units This pve content is non blitz realtime fights that would give awakening mats for meta units and drops for the monthly reset shop for raids and such The issue of no content post dailies NEEDS to be fixed and awakened version of units should be post r6 not a damn gacha ... in that way those who invested in them can feel rewarded, and new players pulling very old units can see them as a future investment. This teamed with more ways to get resos for older units such as boxes and such can just increase that incentive, through more boxes from regular events that have the old liling for example in them and more boxes through the "raid shop" , the raid box can give more than just 5 ripples but maybe a full copy or x20 ripples of a the og liling every month since it resets every X days or months. I just don't like that its gacha based let alone through damn keepsakes ... no ! And im a whale let alone those who cannot get the keepsakes like us, nu uh :/ i love the concept but i hope the execution can be reconsidered for future meta units.

Making them after you get R6 is INCREDIBLY p2w. F2p players would hardly ever get to play with them unless they made it significantly easier to get R6. As a f2p who's been playing over a year, I have a grand total of 3 R6 espers with maybe 4 that are 2 or less resos away from 6. Making it tied to resos is even worse than what they're doing now.

@@moonlitxangel5771 while introducing ways to r6 the old "irrelevant units" they can add a full copy of liling from the raid shop monthly for example and many other ways. Much better than having the new unit as a standalone unit with 6 more resos to work on... Introduce more resos for the old unit through many new easily obtainable means and make the awakening just a one process thing... as it is now it would be horrible but if they play it right and introduce a multitude of ways to obtain more resos for units that can be "awakened" then it would be good imo.

This update is gonna be absolute starting of trash. Not a fan of “meta” espers. If they want to update. SURE go right ahead. Yuuhme and co was a surprise but people accepted it begrudgingly. But this “meta” nonsense was already covered by the alt esper back in Hilda event when they tried making an alt lian. If they must start this nonsense, just refund li ling and make everyone start at base li ling version of meta and supply everyone with wishstones, 70+ per reso they had of li ling. While also getting rid of original li ling. While making original li ling be a skin to meta li ling. We DONT need 2 li lings. Correct me if I’m wrong but they haven’t even done a single complete pantheon on gods and myths!!??

Sorry but I’m not a fan of the concept of Meta Espers. It made normal Li Ling even more obsolete.

Dude imagine if old Li ling can evolve to Meta Liling those old player with R6 will be much stronger and the newbie will be harder to catch up. And the balance for Esper will not be good I know they are unbalance in a way but if old Li Ling and Meta Liling is same then it will completely ruin balance.

It’s so horrible introducing Meta Espers as another Gacha, then what’s the point of R6 esper and getting the same esper with same gacha shit renamed as Meta. They need to hire good people with a bit of working brain. I was so hopeful that many of players who left would join because of this update. As we all had a talk that post R6 ppl would have meta or something. Not just new annoying gacha to make them R6 again.

great video Artiar. One of the silouette espers (top right) looks like Chu Yao. And I suspect that class photo has additional future espers in it. considering how some of the models are stock NPC's that have been used before. My guess is dog man, green haired girl (she has a silouette too), and maybe glasses kid (might be the missing bird armed character) might be new characters. What if the tall girl is gabrielle? might be a stretch, but funny enough gab's divinate model doesnt have face tattoos.

I'll not forget how they blatantly ignore the push back on "having more versions of the same esper" when they asked about that with lian. The content of the patch looks great. But this is a Bad idea especially aplied to legendaries. This "meta esper" idea could have roll better for me if it was for some of the rare and épics that had roles in the story before. ( Everyone at some point expected this for Bryn). Also i'll raise the alarm on the other elephant in the room. We clearly have 2 "meta espers" comming. Are they going to make 2 different battle pases? Or Will yunchuan free? I feel it Will be the first...

Tbh, I’m for the Alternate versions of Espers IF it’s because those powered up characters progress the ACTUAL story. I don’t mind that the devs want the power scaling in the story to match the characters. Alternate characters however should have been done on the characters that are barely played( Rare and Epic Units). An Alternate Sacchiko would have been awesome since we got a different variation as a boss in the STORY. Meta Li Ling and Meta Third Eye wolf dude seem so lazy especially because you can tell that those two characters are favorites for the company besides the fury love.

The Meta espers locked behind keepsakes its actually making me consider to quit, whats the point on acquiring espers through boxes, wishstones and stickers just to become obsolete and forgotten and add new more powerful versions worth thousands of dollars to max or half a year through less expensive methos just to be useless by then. Im mexican, buying things in this game is like 5x any first world country, the game is punishing now.

it's nice to see the animation back in trailers but respectfully it is very cheap AI animation effects like with li ling on the phone, it's the same technology to make espers move and seem fluid in story cutscenes, i really miss actual animation from older trailers like hilda trailer etc. i don't want to be a downer about these things but i feel conversation lately has been very focused on dislyte being 'generous' and not whether game is evolving or not
