Either stays or skz won't talk about woojin anymore, he left in October 2019 for some personal reasons which was a bad thing for skz, stays and even woojin. He actually was the main vocalist of the group and like other members, he also had songs written. After he left, the group got hate a lot and everything turned down for the members too, they had to redo their songs, and and re record all of the songs within a little amount of time cause they had concerts near and their album called ' clé : Levanter ' (I'm not sure tho abt the name of it) was about to be released but they changed the dates cause of everything that happened, and needed time to fix everything up again. Also seungmin, who was the lead vocalist in the group had to become the main vocalist within the amount of time they had, which leaded things to get worse and han, (who's an Ace) had to be one of the members who got more vocal lines, But that's in the past now, and us stays don't talk about woojin. He's a soloist now, and left the company years ago. And as you may know, this is their pre-debut song. And their song " levanter" was their first song(also first album" clé: levanter") without woojin.

I'm a stay and I don't support and love woojin. he abandoned and betrayed the skz. he was the oldest in the group in terms of age, he was older than Bang Chan, and as you all know in Korea, age matters a lot. the younger ones rely on the older ones (hyungs). they were kids. they had a difficult time. they were not accepted in Korea because of their music, but they wrote the music themselves, they did everything themselves. the company did not promote them. they were their experimental group, which they later called a failure. yes skz were considered a failed JYPE group. For two years they were unable to really break through in the cruel K-pop industry. but they had no intention of conforming to Korean music standards (Korea mostly likes cute pop songs). they wrote songs abt themselves, they wrote supportive songs about their path. their songs saved many people, including me. and before their new comeback in 2019, Woojin decided to leave the group. we were not given details, but in the opinion of the majority and in my opinion too, he left the group because he believed that they had no future. that their group is a failure and this comeback will bring nothing but new disappointments and tears. he always considered himself better than them, believed that he would be more successful in solo. he abandoned them. abandoned his brothers who considered him family. betrayed Bang Chan who trusted him. Because of his sudden departure, the boys had to reschedule their comeback, re-record all the songs, and change all the choreography. this was the darkest time for them when they themselves did not know what awaited them in the future. they said so themselves. They eventually made a comeback, then had their first concert in Seoul as part of ot8. this was the hardest concert of skz. they were all crying. I've never seen Hyunjin cry! he cried so much then. he couldn't calm down. the boys calmed him down. he asked Stay not to leave them. they were so broken. and woojin’s departure and betrayal finally finished them off. all sleepless nights, training 24/7 and no progress. it finished them off. I will never forget the tears of the members. Later, Chan said live that there were never 9 of them, skz is 8 and 8 is fate. By the way, Woojin later said that he left the group supposedly due to health reasons, but he immediately went on vacation to China and hung out in nightclubs where everyone took pictures of him, when at the same time the broken skz were busting their ass because of his departure, changing the entire album. I will never forgive him. he's a terrible person. and what makes him even worse is that he decided to apologize to SKZ after 5 years. not in front of them personally, but on camera. he moved to a new company and for this he needed to clear his reputation and he decided to apologize, it was so feigned and disgusting. It would be better if he was completely silent. if he had left peacefully and not like a rat, chan would not have said that they never existed 9. he would not have asked stay to never mention his name again. skz wouldn't re-record all their old albums with woojin in them. they re-recorded all the albums with his participation. who does that? unless they wanted to cross him out with all their hearts. but after his departure the skz blossomed. after the song GODS MENU they flew up. the company finally decided to promote them somehow and gave them a distributor in America, which is why they began to be recognized all over the world. first album since getting a distributor in the US and they got their first #1 in the BB200 with the album ODDINARY. and until today they have won 5 No. 1s in BB200 SKZ WILL ALWAYS BE 8 8 IS FATE

Woojin left in 2019 citing 'personal reasons' but some people claim that he was kicked out because he was maybe weighing the group down due to his lack of popularity and the negative attention he brought. The reason he had so much hate was because of his physical appearance (he didn’t fit korean beauty standards) as well sexual assault allegations against him surfacing but they were later proven false (i think?). There was still a lot of hate and some stays even created a petition to kick him out. There are also reports of him being abused and mistreated by the entertainment company but also possible evidence of him bullying the members and making them uncomfortable. since there are so many people saying different things i’m just going to be neutral about this because at the end of the day i’m a random person who doesn’t know any of these people and some of this information isn’t verified so…(some of the things i said might be wrong sorry but this is just things i’ve heard)
