Just because the turd was life-size scale doesn't mean it wasn't the dog. This statue is great... I'd say 5/5 on likeness but 2 or 3/5 no matter how good Aquaman 2 is. AH really has done brand damage to her name. The market for this would be completionists or Mera fans(rare?), or people who just like looks despite everything else. I really really liked the Infinity Studios Mera bust despite all this though, I think (and without trying to sound pervy but knowing that I'll fail) the droplets on her chest make it next-level for realism. I don't mind the base but she controls water so they easily could have had her standing on some.

Very happy with mine. Pose is ok, just her about to tap into the water manipulation powers, but unlike the Infinity bust JND didn't include any floating water to make that clear. I hope they do a decent job on Moma, that would be a great set.

Thanks for sharing X. Glad you’re still drinking on the stream when you’re retired, you’re still buying statues. Another beautiful piece by JND but much dislike over AH is unavoidable, she’s retired from acting and moved to Spain. Museum standard DCEU cinematic standing poses is from JND like my Sideshow Superman Chris Reeves. I still have my eye on JND’s SS Harley Quinn and JL Wonder Woman 1/3s. Possible to get Amber’s hair dripping wet if her suit gets wet and doesn’t shrink lol!

The likeness looks better when u pull the hair back because when the hair is covering th3 sides of the face it makes it look like she has a rectangular face but she does in fact have an oval face. I have to disagree with you saying the likeness is worse than Catwoman. I own both and while l think the likeness looks decent it doesn't look as good as this. Regardless, the Mera prototype sculpt was way more accurate than the final sculpt.

A $2,200 statue of Amber Heard, you have got to be shitting me. The quality of the sculpt is fantastic but the base is a bit boring. They could have added some water splitting and twirling as her powers are water manipulation. Still the material they used and the paint job is really impressive. Congratulations to those who have gotten her, she is beautifully done.

The portrait looks great, until you compare it to the Mera 1/1 bust from Infinty Studio, which features an way better less angry looking expression. Every time i see images/videos of the JND Mera, her skin tone looks too pink/red, they should have made it lighter, like Infinity Studio did with the 1/1 bust. While the outfit looks great on the JND piece, the level's green's seem over done, again not as could as the color palette Infinity Studio went with on the outfit for their 1/1 bust. All in an easy pass and money saved. When it comes to JND pieces, some of them, the actor/actress likeness is questionable. I own just one JND piece, and that's the Harley Quinn piece. The pieces look great in person, it looks lifelike. Does it look like Margot Robbie? hell no! ..when it comes to actor/actress likeness, JND have some catching up to do to reach the level Hot Toys and InArt manage.
