Now you know why they don't want to be labeled kpop or jpop. They don't want to be put in a box. They want to make whatever type of music they want. You guys should really check out their documentary XtraXtra. You will really have a deeper respect for these girls. And Simon , their EP. The episodes are long so you might not want to react but it would be cool. But at least check it out on your own time if you don't. Nice reaction ✌🏾

They have a documentary series on their channel called xtra xtra it details how the company was created, how the members were selected and goes into the creative process. In one the episodes they show the process behind the creation of shooting star and mascara.

The VFX Team of XGALX went all in with this MV that's for sure. That's why XG doesn't want to be in the confines of K or J Pop. Because they want to be their own thing - XPOP. Which is perfect for XG because they are Xtraordinarily talented in many ways. You can check out their docu series and that will give you a glimpse of their journey. ☺ Thanks for the XG love.

Knowing your love of music and interest in production, you should consider xtra xtra XG documentary series (8 episodes detailing their training, development, elimination, and leadership of Simon as musical genius and father figure. It interesting, moving and addictive and you’ll grow to love each one of these girls for who they are.

Okay first of all they didn’t made a club song and show more respect when reaction just because of it lyrics and the soundtracks that doesn’t mean that was a song made for a club song

@@KECON541 which part of our reaction did you find disrespectful, if you don’t mind us asking? And I wrote “club song” since the track has an EDM, House, techno vibe which was music mostly heard in nightclubs, raves and such. No disrespect was intended. Clearly we enjoyed the song

The label XGALX was specifically created for XG, and to create XG in the first place. And Simon is much more than just the CEO and producer - he is mentor, teacher, father figure, protector, mad genius-level mastermind of it all and part of family. He was himself a successful idol in Korea a good decade ago. Besides the already mentioned documentary, there are a lot of behind the scenes and making of videos available.

XG is under XGALX (formerly X-GALAXY). XGALX is a subsidiary label under AVEX, a major entertainment label in Japan. Some of the biggest J-Pop artists have come out of AVEX. A few of the XG girls trained in the AVEX Artist Academy before auditioning for the XG Project.
