It tells you which row is which I think.

It tells you which row is kanto, jhoto, and hoen….. but not the order of which Pokémon is in which pokeball

Im guessing the onix was part dragon which is why razor leaf wasnt super effective and it also had dragon breath

The weird thing is they changed the levels of the pokemon evolving. The worst part is that you have to have a high enough leveled pokemon team to beat the gyms. Which then you are having a harder time if you can't train your pokemon at all. It's a fun game but can be very hard if your pokemon won't obey you. As the badge you got at the end was worthless because your power was already past level 30 and that badge is for pokemon level 30 and higher to obey you.

I think disobedience only applies to traded Pokémon, though the hack may have changed that.

as david said, disobiedience ONLY applies to traded mons and i did not change that so don't worry about leveling up your mons too much, they will still obey you the change in pokemon levels for evolcing is mostly for balancing since this game is more cathered towards nuzlockers while for a normal run throught it doesn't change much

Why did you evenly level an entire team up? You went through like 180 rare candies. You could have had Blaziken and Meganium at level 90 crushing everything instantly.

before gym 1 you get around 80 candies total but yes, if you want you could have one single mon around level 90 before gym 1

This seems like one of those games where the person had one too many complains about Pokémon and thought, "I can do something better than them" only to fail miserably because the "amazing" ideas they had on paper to improve the game didn't do well once put on practice... Still, it is an interesting take, but very rough around the edges owo"

The idea that you can't grind levels but have to buy rare candies is really weird, especially since it seems like there's a limited amount of money to get. You could easily softlock your game which feels like an awful design choice.

@@shrubninja like every game there is a way to softlock yourself, true this is meant to be a hard challenge, choices are very important and if in the end you can't progress because you wasted your resources it's like getting a "game over" and need to restart it's part of the challenge

@@Nagluuu I'm sorry, but a game should never be able to softlock to the point where you have to start over, especially a game as long and grindy as pokemon. The "like every game" part is absolutely not true. The overwhelming majority of games, aside from very early productions in the industry, cannot softlock. Using money instead of exp is an idea that the developer thought was cool on paper, but in execution it's a clunky, poorly designed mess. You're never going to organically be the appropriate level. You're never going to immerse yourself in the game world because it's so gamey. The whole thing is just "What if you used money instead of exp" and the thought ended there. This isn't even touching on the changed types and moves with no altered sprites or indication of the changes, leaving you guessing at what they were thinking.

@@shrubninja not every game is for everyone, no worries, i get it you said -The whole thing is just "What if you used money instead of exp" and the thought ended there - Do you really think i didn't spent countless hours balancing the amount of money you get to make this game possible? it took almost 3 years to make it and more than half the time was for balancing it the issue is about money for level and than you say "grindy"...the money for exp litterally takes out ALL the grind from the game. You can complete this in a couple of hours if you know what you're doing for the moves you're just plainly wrong there ARE indications of the changes both in game and off game read the descriptions of the attacks or read the documentations provided with the game if you go in blindly that's on you, on my part i gave all the info needed (and that applies for the mons changes too, there are full documentations for it) you clearily didn't play a single minute of the game and it shows i take very seriously any complain or tip from my players and apply them to make the game always better; i do not take seriously empty complains from someone that so obviously didn't play it and just complains becuase it's easy to do so on the internet anyway, i hope you'll have a fantastic day

I just leveled a Seal to Dewgon to lvl 75 by the time I beat brocks gym. They need a level cap or something so people don't just put all the candies into one pokemon. Cuz now its boring and I feel like I am playing it wrong. O and if you only have 1 pokemon then double battles just duplicates that one pokemon at that lvl. So I have 2 lvl 75 dewgongs battling lol
