If you do 6 sledgehammers in a row on the mirror pyraminx it will do nothing but twist a few centers. Sadly I dont remember which centers it twists but its pretty easy to test and figure out (It is actually a Halpern-Meier Pyraminx because it has flat faces instead of the pillowed Jings Pyraminx)

FYI the Shengshou Jing's Pyraminx has slots for 4x2 magnets (in the edges and centers). Use strong magnets and / or stack several in the edges, as the plastic is pretty thick.

Mirror cubes are fun! I love how you need correct center orientation! I have a 3x3 and a 4x4 from the cubical. Sadly, the4x4 is 3d printed but it's still really cool!

well because the mirror pyraminx that is sold commercially is not a "real" mirror pyraminx but rather a mirror jing's pyraminx, so i would get a custom 3-d printed mirror pyraminx after buying the one sold by shengshou :)
