The next patch is looking to become one of the worst so far. The banner update which will probably be some scummy weapon banner-like mess, absolutely terrible estimated rewards, the lack of annual Dainsleif quest, and finally the release of the nichest character in the entire game. Might as well just forget about its existence until 4.6 drops.

As for teams, I will select one of the N girls (Navia, Noelle, Ningguang) with Furina. With Noelle Furina Chiori you can go with other off field damage monsters like Fischl, Miko, Yelan (I’m solely thinking in waifu setups😊) assuming C1 is secured which is my intention.

At least Dehya had the advantage of being one of the best looking and most well-developed characters from the story, despite her being useless gameplay-wise. Chiori...well let's just say she always struck me more as a 4-star than a 5-star...

The idea of benefiting from geo constructs are really healthy for the game since when i saw navia first i was like “yup geo is dead rip” but now they are making her so bad that she starts to feel redundant. Like not many players have itto and she wont work with no one besides him if you dont have her C1. X.5 is real

Can I see your cal table? Tgs cal put Itto team much lower at 55k. Navia's also doesn't reach that high, Only barely above 60k Edit: I saw alot of cal assume that Itto and Albedo/Chiori will get Gorou buff 100%. But that's not possible with Itto extend rotation and hit lag.

is the dmg increase from geo resonance really that insignificant?? ittos new best mono geo team being chiori gorou albedo doesnt quite make sense to me since you need a shield to make full use of geo resonance, and relying on the enemies having an innate aura for crystallise isnt nearly reliable enough to supplement the lack of PECH application this is feels crafting but from my experience playing itto mono geo not having a shield active should result in a pretty big damage loss...

You forgot they are Geo, loaded of Def stats they are not some sort of glass cannon. They will do fine even without Zhongli shield.

@TotoyDestiny I'm not specifically talking about their survivability, I'm referring to this part of the geo resonance which, at least back in 2.3, was a big part of what made ittos mono geo teams work: "characters protected by a shield will have the following special characteristics: DMG dealt increased by 15%, dealing DMG to enemies will decrease their Geo RES by 20% for 15s." For an element which can't be affected by VV, that geo res decrease is pretty valuable. Even with zhongli already decreasing elemental res. That res decrease and the base dmg increase can only happen when the user is protected by a shield

I didn't even think about that. A pure mono geo comp would in fact be atrocious without a sheild to actually activate Geo Resonance. In a comp where Itto is your driver, it would behoove the player to bring at least 1 element that can be crystalized, or Zhongli. I don't think we give up Gorou, his buffs are too significant. So it comes down to Chiori, Or Albedo.

Chiori constellations are way better, so c0 vs c0 yes, if Albedo flower can survive then he will be better. Now c1 vs c1 and c2 vs c2, c4 vs c4 it will more and more favour Chiori with an increasing gap between the two.

Yun jin if you have her better if she is c6, or fishl as battery to help with team energy generation. Or instead of chiori do noelle, gorou, albedo (with chiori signature wep if you could afford it) and yunjin/fischl/raiden/ or save up for itto rerun and make your noelle better by pulling itto wep instead if your noelle is c6.

Numerically, I beleive Chiori would fare a bit worse than Albedo would here, unless she's at C1. None of these characters summon a geo construct for Chiori to make a second doll, which is going to hamper her output significantly. Very childish on Mohoyo's part.

trying my best to roll for chiori (impossible challenge) i'd rather roll for kazuha for my xianyun exploration team, having a second more niche albedo is worthless and all. i dont want an artist on my team, neither will i want a dumbshit niche clothe designing scumbag. hoyoverse still has a pretty long road to impress their players considering how bad the rewards the recent events award. saving up primogems for future characters is going to be so stressful and im expecting a lot of monas leaving genshin impact after the 4.5 patch. i doubt hoyo will fix the next patch knowing damn well they didnt give a shit about our *"aspirations"* before the 4.4 patch. {im so expecting this update from shittyverse! ❤ }

Assuming these calcs use C0 5-stars, 4-star weps, ~200cv builds, there's no way Chiori not only adds an insane 20k dps to Itto, especially in that no Geo resonance team, but also only to Itto and no other team somehow. Otherwise yeah her kit is pretty bland, but I'm still pulling cause Geo waifu, also for Gorou/Yun Jin cons.
