Nice work. I too recommend Spanish cedar liner. One of my new favorite's is the La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor.

Deffo need a Spanish cedar lining. Not just for humidity but to eliminate those pesky microscopic bugs that love to bury themselves in the cigars. Spanish cedar is poisonous to them.

@@DIYTyler spanish cedar isnt cedar its more like mohogany. the cedar you may have inside a humidor is not the same thing

A thin layer of Spanish cedar will help with humidity and longevity of the cigars. One of my go to smokes is a Monte Cristo White Label #2

Awesome build, looks amazing. I do agree with the comment about the cedar lining. I'm a pipe smoker who occasionally enjoys a good cigar so I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to cigars too, but my favorite cigar is the Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro in a box pressed torpedo. Hands down the best cigar I have smoked

Nice build tyler. Cpl things though hygrometer is the tool that measures humidity. Also in the future line it with spanish cedar. And also i would use the silicone inside humidor. The cigars will absorb any smells or off gassing. Spanish cedar does a cpl things aroma kills any cigar beetles that may have hatched from eggs tht werent killed during flash freeze process and it helps with moisure and adds notes to cigar.

How's the humidity holding up? Just fine or do you wish you had lined it with Spanish cedar? Vaguely planning a future humidor project, I'll probably splurge on some cedar for a lining. Just wondering what your thoughts on this build are now that its been a few months. My favorite smoke right now is the "Cain F Lancero", pick up a couple singles if you get a chance, really good smoke and not too expensive.

Tyler, you knocked it out of the park! Absolutely stunning look and now that I’ve bought my CNC and expand into this world, I may have to make an amazing design and maybe a humidor. I used to have several humidors many years ago when I was into cigars. My favorites at the time were Cohibas, Rothmans, and when I wanted a dark cigar, Onyx and Maduro. That honeycomb pattern looks amazing and wish you do more CNC projects. And as a side note, always seems like your dust bin light or going off. Come on man!!! 🤣
