THe description of Underworld was good apart from Hades palace and the absence of Elysium. But alright... Considering the book they change everything. There's no Kronos clear evidence at this point apart from Percy found weird Hermes shoes going to Tartarus. And obviously Hades knows nothing about Kronos and he never wanted the masterbolt, but he missed helm. Other differences... THe Asphodel Valley is a deserst place with dried petrified trees full of people (billions) wandering apatic. Hades palace are full of several soldiers of several historical periods, and also have Persefone garden with a dragon protecting some fruit (I don't recall what fruit). Charon or Caronte is a business man in a reception pre Underworld, and who organize the deads at the underworld entraance are the furies. Procrustes (Crusty) have a bed shop and usually kills travelers. At his shop Percy found the adress of underworld entrance. About Hades neither that one in the movie and neither this one of the series look alike Hades book whose is more sinister in a kind of "Dracula" description.

The fruit was probably a pomegranate as Hades and Persephone and pomegranates all go together in the myth... which is why Hades asking if they want pomegranate juice in the show was a little inside joke.
