I don't think they'll rework Polluted, since it's one of the more recent and update special modes. It already looks modernized enough, I don't see why they'd rework it. Hardcore is deserving of a rework, since it's easily beatable outdated slop with an extreme cool and difficult final boss. Badlands 2 will probably end up being the new hardest mode in the history of tds until Hardcore gets it's rework.
