The reference to the Citgo sign always made me wonder if this song was about a baseball being knocked out of Fenway Park. (Only problem with the theory is that the sun doesn't really shine from the direction those baseballs are going.)

Definitely not typical of a song on a full album of theirs, but this sounds very much like something they'd put on an EP (Cabbagetown, etc.).
