The daughter cheated on him. His close friend betrayed him and cheating with his wife. The father (and his employer) fired him even though he didn't do anything wrong and tried to take his son. The coworker (and everyone) tried to kill him without any compassion. Yeah, no wonder he is extremely pissed off. All those people deserves what's coming to them.

It's possible he was a good guy and was sucked into a life of crime after marrying the daughter. They got what they deserved as he was a good worker but everyone from dad to the coworkers to the wifey all betrayed him. He was willing to give up the house car money and everything just to keep the son. It was a fair offer but they tried to kill him. Good UK version of John Wick.

You will notice at 8:32 or 52m 50s into the film, the scene where the others are outside by the vehicle as Norm is leaving Bull's Mother's house, Bull can be seen standing in the bushes behind the garden shed. How long was he standing there, and what was his motivation to allow it to happen? Was it part of his "deal"?

Not sure if you're aware, but if not she wasn't dead at that point, they hurt her but didn't kill her, so the title is inaccurate. Bull was the one who killed her by putting her out of her misery.
