Parents had issues at the school my kids went to. So they got in front of the school board and argued about it. When I caught up with the parents later they said you were right. No matter what they said ton the school board they were totally ignored. Even rolled their eyes like I said they would and talked down to the parents. That was before the federal government had school boards turning in parents because they disagreed with them

As a teacher, I totally agree. Student reading and numeracy levels are concerningly low. So many of us just want to teach our subjects without an agenda beyond math, science, and literacy. We're losing amazing teachers who leave the profession, and I'm terrified about the agenda of who is left behind. Thank you for standing up for the children! We need more people like you.
