As you’ve seen by the title we had to start from scratch after just working our way up to AK’s and full gear from nothing. Sean farmed like an absolute champ all day and we had enough materials and gear to raid them back! Things went smoothly to start with but then they log back in and start to try and complicate things for us. Find out what happens now in Episode 2!
This is part 2, if you haven’t seen Part 1 you may want to watch that first to get a better understanding of this episode. I think you guys are really enjoying this story format of video rather than just cutting and pasting clips together so I’ll keep making them in this format when I can. More videos coming as soon as we start up on a server but I probably won’t be uploafing slices for a few days over Christmas! Sure you understand.

Not only that, but you shouldn't be expected to keep track of where someone lives and what time they go on/offline so you only raid them when they're on, so you don't know if people are on or just out of the base until you've got in and found sleepers.

Hands down the best time I had in rust was building a tiny shack on the beach inbetween a bunch of large bases. I had a one little furnace n would run around burning down all wooden bases in the area. Often geared people would kill me, but for the most part none seemed to notice that one little shack placed unassumingly in the middle of everything

I dont think offline raiding is bad because I just want their loot, i dont need them to respect me for an online, i farmed for materials to raid someone just to get their loot. Also, if you are a smart person you can use electricity and the rust+ app to alert you when you are getting raided (I know this was made 2 years ago and the rust+ app might have not been a thing back then).

I guarentee you werent the only ones they raided, and the reason the base was mostly hollow was because they were planning on upgrading the outer structure, simultaneous with more storage space. However i always wondered why ive never seen a retaliation raid try to remodel the enemy base into a trap base, where they cant access any of their loot. So when they spawn in, they can't do anything except die.

@@cas8612 Chasing nakeds for 10 minutes on end relentlessly screaming isn't "taking from others maliciously to survive", it's just pathetic, and don't try to sound intelligent defending a naturally shitty game with shitty player base, it's cringy as fuck. And yes, that is the norm in most cases, being chased relentlessly as you spawn in, getting screamed at by fully geared virgins with cheeto stains on their shirts. And there is nothing to "handle" it's just essentially a pointless game to play unless you don't have a life, Although I suppose it can be temporary fun with friends if you're drinking a bit and havin a good time.
