In the UK, Konami's Ultra Games subsidiary operated under a different name: Palcom Software.

1:46 - No. It was learned from the Japanese console market and Nintendo's own lax licensing policy for Famicom games.

Konami in no way outsmarted Nintendo. Nintendo knew exactly what was happening with Ultra Games.

@@Justin-Hill-1987you said "he meant to" as if it was an on the spot slip of the tongue while talking live. It really doesn't hurt to watch your own videos with a critical eye and ear before posting. This isn't a simple missed fact due to unavailable information. He just plain screwed up

Instant sub. Excellent voice over and very well produced. Keep going. You're gonna have viral hits. This is probably one of them.

Good voice, but the backing music distracts, and the first 19 seconds are a little too schmaltzy with needless allusion. How much pc the target audience does or does not know the licensing restrictions of the time already?

Ultra made gameboy games too. Motocross Madness is one. That game, in fact, uses music from the NES/FDS port of Gyruss.

Who did it first Konami making Ultra games or Acclaim making LJN. There's also the phony label to avoid system exclusivity rules like flying edge was Acclaims Genesis publishing company, and arena being LJN's Genesis publishing Company which goes back to Acclaim. Tengen was Atari on non-Atari systems. During the second generation they were known as Atarisoft when they were publishing games on any console they found profitable to publish on that wasn't at Atari console or computer.

I appreciate you don't beg for a sub before we even watch the video, like most creators. Here's a sub and a comment for the algorithm
