Yooooo, I don’t play kh3 on pc, but this is so sick. I do have a complaint that I can see from this video. When you land it looks like you stand straight for like 1-2 seconds, then you go into the forms animation. A great fix would be to make a custom animation that is like kh2. Where Sora stands for a second then leans down into the base standing animation for the form. If custom animations aren’t possible, then rip this idea

So glad to have the drive bar back, exactly what KH3 needed. I've always thought that it should have been merged with the Focus Bar to give players the choice between an easy burst of damage vs higher potential when used skillfully. I wouldn't mind seeing the BBS and DDD modes given similar treatment.

What I love about the drive forms in KH2 is that not only they are really good to use in specific situations, but you can use them to add more flare to your combos and style on your enemies as well!

Not sure if you have, but a modder that used to have the “another road” mod on nexus now is still updating and perfecting it more and more. Playing as Xehanort and the true 13 darknesses really made the game come to life in a new breath of fresh air. His handle is “ the recusant” hope to see some love for all the hard work and dedication he’s done since its initial release

I was a little bit disappointed that drive forms were absent in the vanilla game. Keyblade transformations weren't necessarily bad, it was fresh and I enjoyed playing around with them. But from almost a character perspective not having them was unfortunate. Mostly every keyblade master has had some kind of unique ability, and drive forms felt like they were uniquely soras. I understand they wanna do new things and I appreciate that, and the transformations are essentially an evolved version in a way, but in my headcannon, sora's unique style is drive forms and I feel it should have stayed that way. Edit after finishing video: these mod creators are so crazy talented and you do a hell of a job showcasing what they create!

Aye jared!! I just figured something out that you can totally make a video about ! In kingdom hearts 1 Leon says that the darkness took their world 9 years ago before that event. And I also realized that would be around the time that Kairi Arrived at the island when they were kids. She would be the perfect age. The attention to detail and forward thinking is crazy!!

Someone made a judgement cut mod that I have been using now for over a year. I couldn’t imagine playing the game without it now. I do wish there was a Judgement Cut End mega move that someone could create that used all your MP or something like that. I love the mods for this game!!

With this I kinda wish that we could get a mod that essentially does the whole drive menu thing with your currently equipped keyblade transformations. Like I know you can sorta do something similar by combining ReFocus and expanded shortcuts, but the problem there is how you have to manually swap out your form shortcuts (That and I find ReFocus to be way too forgiving on Forms, 25 focus pays for itself on a lot of Forms)

It would've been awesome if they could've captured the satisfaction of drive forms with literally any of the things added in KH3. So much in that game removes player agency and it's so frustrating because KH2 managed to do many similar things, but kept the player in control. KH2FM has 13 hours of cutscenes. KH3 has 10 hours, and yet with all of the situation commands it felt like 20.

I'm a massive Kingdom Hearts fan, massive. And when kh3 dropped the very first thing that crossed my mind was why the drive forms weren't in the game. I must have played kh2 at least 8 times, kh3 got 1 playthrough and that was it. If they incorporated drive forms plus keyblade transformations, I'm telling you the game would have been ridiculous. Hopefully kh4 does that plus add some elements from BBS, Tetsuya, I'm begging you to make this next one a knock out of the park. The hardware is here, and I know the potential is as well. Hell, blow our minds and do something as groundbreaking as drive forms but maybe better?? Idek, I just wish they would stop bringing in new concepts just to can them. Oh! And more sora and gang world transformations. Absolutely loved Lion King when him and everyone was an animal. Definitely need more of that 🫶
