Loyalty cards should be banned. its anti-free market, they should be forced to compete everyday for your money not lock you in.

Agrreed. We already have an exchange voucher system - it's called 'money'. All the loyalty cards do is add a layer of farting around and create unnecessary costs.

No. Loyalty cards should be a choice. Oh hold on. They are a choice. Silly me thinking they are forced on us. 🤣
@magrathean0 Жыл бұрын
@@BBoaBrim They should be banned. They are a pointless way to compete with another supplier - ie one supplier only does it because another does. It doesn't create any extra service or value.

@@magrathean0 what utter nonsense. Because you don’t like them nobody else can have one. Got ya.
@magrathean0 Жыл бұрын
@@BBoaBrim . They are silly and should be removed. However, there would be no rule against a shop issuing cards and telling the customers who go through the tedium of registration, that they are a very special person. They can even put a picture of a cat on the card.
@PP-im6mb Жыл бұрын
These loyalty cards are simply discriminatory against people who refuse to participate. If these shops can sell the products at much lower prices to loyalty card holders, then they are very clearly ripping everyone else off.

Supermarkets happily applied for bailouts during the pandemic until mass opposition through petitions forced them to hand the money back. Food inflation is sky high while supermarket staff have received pay rises of 3 to 4 % and profits are excessive.

The club card prices are pretty much the genuine price . Then the non club card price I's an inflated unfair price. If my clubcard doesn't scan I ask for a refund there and then . As I'm not paying £ 2.50 for £ 1.25 yoghurt!

If customer data really is important to them why don't sainsburys and Tesco give even bigger discounts or far more items? The 'discount' with the card is the same price I would pay at asda or Morrison's without a card.
