@@southflbeekeepingwithrich Can you tell me when and where do you do meetings? I am in Boca Raton, not too far from you. I built an apiary in my backyard but I’m not a member of any bee association clubs yet! I did got my state permit and got inspected by our friend Angela Thul.

Well didn't Angie tell you about the Palm Beach County Beekeepers Association? She has been an active member for many years. Now Pine Jog Environmental Center May seem like a long way off, but it would be a lot closer than our meetings which are held in Davie and Southwest Ranches, both south of 595. Inspectors usually send out a series of links with their visit report, and one of them is a list of local clubs including ours and theirs. I am a member of both by the way, so I drive through Boca on the way and still consider it well worth the time.

@@southflbeekeepingwithrich It certainly is quite a drive on either direction of the places although I work next to the Ft Lauderdale airport and it’s my daily commute to work. Perhaps Angela had mentioned the Palm Beach County Beekeeper’s Association when she was here, I might need to follow up and check it out one day. Which airport? FFL or Commercial? Huge difference in terms of time to get to our meetings if you work late enough to make that feasible. If commercial, then longer than it takes me, if FFL, then 20 minutes west.
