Judy, I just want to thank you for teaching me how to be a mommy in this current stage in life. I’m terrified to be pregnant and give birth, but elated and overwhelmed with love to think of having a child. My mother is not here to teach me the things I want / need to learn yet I feel she has sent me back to you to learn all the things you do so naturally. I wish I had better words to describe what you’re doing for me right now but all I can say is you’re so amazing and strong and vulnerable and true and that is not lost on me or any of us really. I am at 6:17 where you are giving Leah cold blueberries and it almost brought me to tears thinking “yeah why not?” Idk how to explain that, but it’s like… you taught me I can be a mommy who gives my child something they want SIMPLY because they want it. I think our generation grew up knowing our boundaries so well it’s taken us until now to expand them to where we have grown to. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself here for us to learn from and enjoy. I just want you to know that it really is changing the world, and lives. I am already a better mommy because of watching you.

This comment right here! It's hard to explain to people why I've watched Judy for so many years, but you helped me find the words for it. I grew up in a typical Asian household where "I love you" was seldom said, only shown in ways that made sense to adults, but in a kid's mind felt a bit cold. I always wanted to know what a balanced, loving family looked like. Judy's vlogs not only showed me a constant example of loving parents, but also the long-term affects it has on the kids. The girls are stand-up, kind, crazy, and so deeply loved. And they know it. I can say with confidence that whenever I do become a mother, my kids will know LOVE. Thank you Benji for being a wonderful girl dad. These vlogs started the process of healing I needed. Of course, I still have a bit of inner work to do. I do not blame my parents for raising me the best they could. I love them for trying their best. With the combined example of my parents and Judy and Benji, I'm excited about the thought of being a mother where before I was as afraid as you @webgirl. We got this! You're going to be wonderful mother! Congratulations ❤
