Games with big active live service (e.g. League) do tons of code changes and/or bug fixes without telling players. Sometimes this fixes things, sometimes this makes things worse. Often times they don’t fully understand changes, it just seems to be working, and they only add the most notable and easy-to-comprehend changes to patch notes.

I can imagine the person that programmed all this stuff(from the beta) in the first place has already left the company and left a mess of code for someone to figure out. It's not easy, especially when all these interactions can get broken when something else is added to the game and thrown into the piles of spaghetti.

This slam lock is the worst nerf since ow 2 , maybe with the shorter stun time on imp punch. I rather had this nerfs reverted than this new buffs on their tank balance journey

Did you know about the animation bug in the Rocket Punch? When the Rocket Punch hits an enemy, it looks like the Doomfist quickly turns 90 degrees in the third-person camera and then returns. This does not happen in the first person camera.

Unfortunately sliders are a necessary evil because of how hitboxes work in this game. So to “fix” this bug would cause doom way more issues than benefits

New bug- When roadhog ults you, you can't punch through his scrap gun, it's like you're hitting a wall. You used to be able to power through it, but now you just take the full damage. Huge nerf imo

havent had that issue and we tested this in early july. if you arent zoomed out you have to left click petal as he goes up. i recommend you stay zoomed out when ulting on petal

Lately ive been experiencing charged punches auto cancel when i go for the punch. Ill flank and get a support in my sight. Ill charge punch to go for a kill but as i release to go through with the punch. Itll cancel like i did it on purpose.

The lifeweaver pull bug still happens on venture's underground ability. It pulls you despite consuming the cooldown, but obviously it should not have as you were allowed to pull the venture. Lame asf

yeah, that slam cam lock sucks. It causes you to be less aware of your surroundings and be more susceptible to enemy attacks. Half a second to turn makes a difference in a game like this. Should 100% match the slam to the Doom's position.

I genuinely believe that they choose to keep this hero as buggy as possible. I'm a comp sci student, and while I've never had to debug some thing that updates to a live server, most if not all of the bugs on this list can 1000% be fixed with no issues. i have no idea what the code behind dooms abilities look like but after recreating a few basics versions in unreal engine (ow runs on some custom game engine and I'm not going to reverse engineer that for a youtube comment) they can be artificially recreated by increasing lag and or adding non base speed to your target (vertical, like elevators or even jumping, or even horizontal like another doom punch or moving platforms. i cant say for sure how accurate these results are cause idk how similar unreal and ow's engines are and i only have 300hrs on doom, jus my 2 cents
