so fun fact, episode 6 took a little longer to release cause that fight scene near the end took allllll that time to edit and work togather. So you can imagine how hyped everyone was (myself included) when they saw that scene. Side note, Panda you said you were in the mood for popcorn so i'll ask, whats your favorite popcorn? Apparently that circle they drew under her is the actual summoning circle for Stolas from a book many many years ago. There is another one in the next episode as well, it’s actually the video title image. I like the at they do the spaghetti western whistle sound when it’s Millie fighting because of how her family lives on a farm and comes across as kinda western

The grimoire is called The Lesser Key Of Solomon, sometimes also called Lemegeton. It is divided into 5 books, one of them being called Ars Goetia which is where they got the full inspiration for Stolas.

When the animators really went in on that fight scene, it showed me that this series is going to be a classic. It is one of my favorite episodes, especially when it comed to Blitzo and Moxie. Blitzo does have a troubled past. Not gonna say anything else yet. Their is just a lot to unpack and break down. I gotta watch season 2 episode 1 again

I didn't come up with this someone else commented this on a different reaction I don't remember which one but it was really good point basically the interpretation of Blitzo's hallucination was that he sees Moxie as something annoying he doesn't understand him when he uses big words he's the crude cartoon drawing when he uses normal words Blitzo can understand he turns to normal moxie he wants to be a friend of moxie and understand him but he pushes away everyone he gets close to as a defense mechanism and just doesn't understand him at times when he uses big and fancy words as for the other three Striker represents the fact that he could do the assassination business alone but he doesn't want to because he's scared he doesn't want to lose everyone he has even though he keeps pushing them away Fizzarolli represents the birth of his insecurities on friendship they were childhood friends and even had a act together until he eventually moved on from Blitzo leaving him behind saying he tried to be on his own but it failed and then Veraskia represents his toxic mentality of treating those who he loves like crap and pushes them away to try and shield his heart when all they want to do was love him but eventually grow to resent and hate him for his actions finally Stolas represents someone who loves him and despite all the crappy things he says and does but the chains and shackles represent the fact that if he wants this life it may mean he'll no longer be free he'll be forced to live a certain way forever but behind all those feelings his worse fear is he's going to die alone hated by everyone he loved and it's all his fault and Moxie in a dress I have no idea what the hell that's about aside from fan service because hot damn that's sexy

I think that the reason Number One and Number Two were left alive was because Stolas was summoned-he possessed the corpses of the dead agents to summon himself, true, but generally sigils like the one we saw add a layer of protection, usually preventing the one summoned from causing actual harm. But, without his book, it seems to be the only way he had to get there in time to help them

My personal theory as to why Stolas did not kill these guys is that he couldn't. See, normally, Stolas would have gotten to the human world via his book, making him unbound and free there. But Blitz has the book, so instead Stolas possesed Two and the corpses to draw his own summoning circle (incidentially, the real summoning circle for Stolas from the "Book of Solomon" which is also where he is classified as part of the Ars Goetia familiy) and have himself be summoned into the human world. Now, they don't specifi the rules, so I could be talking out of my ass here, but my guess would be that by being summoned he was bound by certain laws and could not actually hurt the humans. A second theory is that he doesn't like killing. Stolas seems like a rather soft person and it is entirely possibly that he has never killed once in his life.

To the point of being a douche about it 7:43 And there you have it folks. 8:32 Actually Moxxie has a pretty good trip. Blitzo on the other hand... The thing about Blitzo is, he's lost a lot in his life, to the point that he's build up these walls around himself and when people get too close to breaking said walls, he pushes people aside. But at the same time he doesn't want to end up alone. 15:25 And this is why this episode too so damn long to come out. This entire fight scene is where most of the budget and time went into. And by Satan's hairy sac it was worth it! 18:41 And just when you forget that Stolas is demon royalty...Pants to be darkened moment. 19:34 Remember the melody that's playing right now. It will be important in season 2.

Yeah it is odd that Blitz and the gang left those two alive. Stolas however not so much. He did use them to summon himself, and as a part of the traditional summoning ritual, a summoned deamon is bound to certain rules depending on the price paid for the summoning. Since this one was forced, then it is likely he wouldn't be able to take them out without having some serious backlash, or piss someone off extremely somwhere that could possibly snuff him out. That someone being on both sides of heaven and hell, not to mention breaking a summoning contract usually ends in death or worse.

You may have missed it but in the pilot episode Stolas mentioned he has associates in the living that are very powerful. So there are probably government figures that worship demons. Also in the lore of Hazbin Hotel which is also apart of this universe humans that were powerful figures on earth are very powerful in hell. Like the Radio Demon and Valentino. I'm sure Stolas can have them killed any time but he isn't allowed too because they weren't really getting involved, Moxie and Blitz just got caught. If they start trying to mess with Stolas' plans he will kill them in a heart beat

The demon circle that the dead bodies were drawing to summon Stolas to the mortal world, is the actual "Seal of Stolas" as seen in 17th century demonology grimoire "The Lesser Key of Solomon". I also love how we now get a hint of the power difference between lowly Imps and Hellhounds and a true demon Prince.

IMP underestimated their enemies and took things way too lightly. They shouldn't let their guards down when they are out in the human world. Also, DHORKS underestimated IMP as well and took things too lightly and they lost a lot of agents. They may have gotten the footage, but they paid the price. The difference, IMP killed a lot of DHORKS agents. the agents are way in over their heads. DHORK agents were unable to get a kill. IMP got more firepower than them. Blitz and the agents have in common, they want to be taken very seriously. At the end, there will face each other again. Hopefully, IMP can beat them again and kill more agents. DHORKS will have get a lot of body bags and funeral arrangements. If IMP continue to underestimate their enemies, things will go very bad. I hope agent 2 gets a fear of owls after her experience with Stolas.

Blitz's whole trip can basically be summerised that he craves proper intimacy and love so badly, but he can't fathom anyone loving him. Thats why he feels like a slave to Stolas. He views Stolas as this alrighty untouchable being but he feels shackled and like a "thing" to Stolas because he can't fathom someone of that status liking him for him
