Honestly, when I read 1 Kings 22, I was impressed with Jehoshaphat. I was impressed that he had such a cordial relationship with God that he could sense when what he was hearing from the other prophets wasn't the voice of God, he knew to seek a "second opinion". Sometimes we (myself included) are so carried away by the pomp and pageantry, the display and theatrics from some of these "prophets" that anything sounds like God's voice....sometimes even thinking too much about a bad idea starts making it sound like a good one. For me this scripture is a big reminder and motivation to spend time in God's word, how else can we as sheep know the voice of the Good Shephard without spending time with Him?......ah mean in this day and age sometimes even people's "opinion/viewpoint" show up dressed up as "Thus says the lord"
