Aegyo is basically "cute acts" or "acting cute" and it's quite popular in korea to use as a challange or if you want to ask someone for a favor they'd tell you "if you show me some aegyo" and then you'll basically just do some cute acts for them idk how to explain it better than this but yeah

@@y2m3e.45 In the beginning he didn’t know anything and looking everything he sees up is a lot of work and probably not worth it because he probably forgets it anyways (because it’s so much). He hasn’t watched that much video’s with aegyo in them yet so to him it was probably just another word which he doesn’t know the meaning of (because he hasn’t seen it that often it doesn’t stand out). Also most of the time in subtitles they translate it to ‘acting cute’ or something similar, so that adds up. So I don’t think it’s about if he’s genuine or not, he probably just doesn’t want to pause every 5 seconds to look up a word he doesn’t know. That would make the video boring anyway because he can’t really experience the flow if he pauses it a lot. I’m not defending anyone that is using kpop simply to make money, i’m just trying to see it from their perspective.

Lmao 2 little things Sam: - Actually, the clip of Sunghoon skating on the ground is from MAMA or MMA so yeah he did it lol - Secondly, you should watch and react to I-LAND episodes, because of two things: one, because it's how Enhypen was formed, and two, because some Japanese participants and a Vietnamese participant gonna debut in the year under Belift (Enhypen label under BH) for the Vietnamese member and under BH Japan for the Japanese members So yeah you should give it a watch ! Oh and yes, a lot of clips come from ILAND 😏 Ps: Niki is 16 in korean age system but 15 in normal age system

They actually have performed at MAMA 2020 where Sunghoon was skating on the stage Sam. You can also check out Ni-Ki doing a dance cover of Jimin's Lie too. It is mind blowing! Other content that you might want to watch would be Enhypen&Hi. They're also in a new variety show with TXT called TXT and Enhypen Playground where they played games together. You mentioned that it would be nice if Sunghoon got a segment in one of the performances where he'd be skating. He had a stage where he performed the opening of their performance. He was roller blading in that performance. It was the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)

you can see a lot of bts covers because they performed them while training in i-land. also they all are armys and respect bts so much, to the point that some of them were inspired by bts to become an idol. if I'm not wrong jake went from australia to korea because he was impressed by bts and started dreaming to become an idol. during i-land bts appeared in 2 episodes, the final and another one in which they gave advices and presents to the i-landers. hobi said that he watched all the episodes and when he went to i-land he praised ni-ki for being an amazing dancer (ni-ki is 15 years old now, 16 is the korean age while in some of the clips he was 14. he really is amazing). also sunghoon was a famous figure skater but left because he started dreaming of becoming an idol. he worked hard in i-land to prove everyone that he did the right choice and at the end he did it, he even performed at mama 2020 while ice skating to the theme song of i-land, that was a very meaningful and moving moment

Fun fact: Sunhoon had been training for the Olympics before i-land but he quit figure skating to become an idol. You can still find videos of him skating in national and international competitions till the en of 2019. He was very good.

You should watch "Weekly Idol," with Enhypen, you saw a few clips of it here in this guide ( They did that show after they debuted) and also "Enhypen&HI" is a 4 episode series of the boys preparing and transitioning from iland trainees to their debut day. Its like a behind the scene of what they did in terms of preparing their debut, making the "Given-Taken" MV, doing a camping trip where they learn to become closer together as a group and etc. They are fun to watch!

Enhypen were formed on September 18 2020, the creator of the vid accidentally put the wrong month, also, Sunghoon used to have anxiety and depression when he was little due to his ice skating schedule, school and also his eye problem but already went through surgery, he's also an introvert....Sunoo have a breathing problem since he was a baby and went through lug surgery in 2019 and not fully recover yet but despite all of that they still manage to pull out such an amazing stages, having a stable vocal, rap and dance and other skills...i'm really proud of them and never regret stanning them :')

Yes, you will have to watch the I-Land series since so many clips were in the video you are reacting to. Jay being able to speak Japanese means he has helped Ni-ki understand unfamiliar Korean words/phrases. Ni-ki is amazing at how quickly his fluency had steadily improved since when he came to Korea, he didn't speak the language. The Korean word aeygo means cute voice, facial expressions, or gestures used by most Kpop idols, though Sunghoon has been shy about doing them. Enhypen members are doing Vlives, and you can watch them with TxT on the Playground tv show right now. Enhypen will have a great future in Kpop.

Aegyo is "acting cute". In Korea they ask you a lot, especially on TV shows to do aegyo. There are also some classic korean songs with hand gestures that are often used to act cute. By the way, i Luv your reactions. Hope i helped
