I was at the championship parade after winning the super bowl. There were more people than times Square on New years eve. I just couldn't believe how many people were there. All I got to say is WE LOVE OUR EAGLES!!!

I attended my first Eagles game in 1960 at Franklin Field with my dad when I was 10 years old. I believe it was against the NY Giants. From then on, I was hooked on Eagles football. Fast forward to January 11th, 1981. I was with my brother sitting in our seats in Section 612 of Veterans Stadium on a freezing cold day in the 1st quarter, when Wilbert Montgomery took a handoff from Ron Jaworski, sprinted through a gaping hole on the right side of the line and ran 42 yards for a touchdown. I can still see that run in my mind's eye to this day. When he broke into the clear, the roar of the crowd was incredible, growing louder and louder as he got closer and closer to the goal line, ending in a crescendo of cheering happiness that spread through the Vet as he crossed the goal line. I remember the odd sound of muffled clapping because everyone in the Vet was wearing gloves. Thank you, Coach Vermeil, for turning our team into winners. 😊

No doubt. I was born into this craziness. Our Eagles are our family. We are a very large family. We will protect this city with all we have. It couldn't have been proved more during our SB run and win. NO ONE was stopping us. The team did great, but the fans also willed that win. We were not settling for anything less. It was our time, our due, and we got it; finally.

You should do a Vantage Point on the House of Pain Game in 91 and that defense that year.

Moved to San Diego 20 years ago in August. It took me about 19 years to get used to people eating sushi and working on their suntans at sporting events. Rather than hanging on every moment. Out here sports are just entertainment. Conversely, sports are our religion and way of life back home. Your wedding cake has an Eagles or Phillies logo on it, and you bury your grandfather in his Eagles jersey. It hurts like hell to lose, and feels amazing when you win. The sky is bluer, the sun is warmer, and food just tastes better. Go Birds!

I remember as a kid visiting other stadiums like Tampa, Arizona, and Miami and seeing the lack of passion. I could not believe how dead the stadiums were. I feel so horrible for the players that get traded to those teams. It's like a death sentence. How could you ever want to leave fans that give you goosebumps and the ambitions and the drama and the stomach . After Tom Brady the bucs will go back to one of the worst franchisees in the history of the NFL. I went to college in Tampa during the SuperBowl parade and Stanely cup Parade. It was such a shame. The lack of comradery was almost bone chilling. It was more of an excuse to get out and drink rather than a celebration of all those years dying for this moment. There are die hard fans but it's just not the same at all. Its NY/Boston/San Diego/Green Bay are all teams I respect soley because they understand how our week literally depends on Sundays outcome. Cowboys have to be the most overrated fanbase. Weirdos all over in that stadium. You'd think there would be more weirdos in Philly. I love this city with all my heart and would take a bullet for 99% of these players. And I mean that with my whole heart not just as an analogy.

What people around the country & the world don't understand is we genuinely care about our teams especially our Eagles! They're family and we get mad sometimes but we will always have your back! Always. Give us your all & we will love you forever. Ask Brian Dawkins, A.I., Chase Utley, etc.

Spoken like someone who has no idea what he's talking about...just regurgitating the NY-based national media's agenda of bashing the incredibly loyal fanbase since it's easy, lazy journalism. The goons from 700 level at the Vet are long gone as they're either dead or lost their season tickets years ago due to their behavior. What's left now is a loyal, tough fanbase which don't act like a bunch of drunken goons...mostly anyway. There are horror stories across every NFL fanbase...that's a fact.

The CEO of Nintendo is a football fan? If you're going to troll why not have the balls to be who you really are? Ok so some assholes were being assholes it happens at every stadium in the world. Tell us what else you saw during your time at the game.

Exactly. I've been to games all over the country and every stadium has it's share of assholes. So tired of everyone trolling on Philly fans. At least no one was ever shot and killed in our parking lot....
