Yesterday my mother told me I will never be prosperous and rebuke it... she even treated to through me out to get my own place. Even family will not support you wt heck. 2 days ago God sat me down after my mother told me why do I even force myself to do things that I don't know how to do. She's taking about my faith walk. Confirmation! Thanks God, I stopped responding almost 3 years ago. I just listen to them in silence until they finish. Then, I leave the room and pray God for peace for both of us. Since then, I feel better even when I got angry for some minutes. Prayer is my way of releasing my anger and pain... When you deal with people with emotional/mental problems, it's better to let them release their anger and keep silent. Otherwise, you reinforce their negative or disruptive behavior. Thank you lil sister Stephanie for sharing this message because I had that happen to me last month. I didn't respond. I blocked and went on all platforms to block people. God has given me the peace and strength that I need to be able to put it all behind me, but I am not going to forget.
