My ex had a family member who was caught in the act of S.A on a 5 yr old girl he got a measly 14 months which was infuriating. Thankfully karma caught up with him. 6 months after he was released He was breaking into a pregnant girls apartment (his family tried to say he thought it was his house....yeah ok) the girls bf just happened to be there and shot his ass and he died Justice served in my eyes. I did not care I would have hugged the guy.

There’s a good reason for that. A lot of them more than likely attended child sex parties run by people like Epstein and other rich powerful white men. The parents may well have been the ones who turned him into such a monster. I only realized, recently, that my grandfather molested my now-elderly mother when she was a child and that is what destroyed her. She is a covert narcissist who is full of rage and is unable to love or feel empathy for anyone, especially her own husband and children. My grandfather was a successful businessman and community leader who hid behind a cloak of respectability. The ones with the best reputations are, too often, perverted monsters.

Man this is infuriating. I got 3 years probation all because someone said my name. Despite the da and judge admitting that I was innocent and proving they tried to cohorce me into saying something that was untrue just to help their other cases. No record prior, not even a parking ticket. All because they needed someone credible to help them fight a case. And because pride and racism got in the way, instead of admitting they were wrong, they altered evidence and convicted me. While he had a plethora of chances, a slap on the wrist, big ego to continue without fear, many victims just roam freely and be classified as NOT A DANGER TO SOCIETY. And yet, you got folks that want to make America great again. This issue considered great? Well take me to another planet, please, and thank you. I don't know how parents so easily trust a stranger with their only child and then think it's impossible that someone would be sick enough to hurt them. It infuriates how reckless these parents could be. It's even worse when there were witnesses that saw a child in distress being followed and did NOTHING. This makes me so f-ing angry! How does a man who kills or tries to kill children not a threat to society or are children not included in our society. And they just let him get away with it. And this kind of thing happens all the time. How many children have to be victims before the legal system finally does something about it. I can only imagine how the parents of these children must feel. And I think that all the people who made it possible for this predator to continue to victimize children should be held accountable too.

The judge that let him out should be prosecuted too. Omg why did they let him out? Why do they not take child predators more serious I'm sick of it. The justice systems needs to protect women and children more then they do. How about let some of the minorities out of prison that are in there for weed charges and keep the sicko predators in there.

Not long before he was released from Bridgewater (1991) I exchanged I think 3 or possibly 4 letters with him after he sent me a penpal request in response to seeing my name in a penpal magazine. He rambled a bit but didn't seem real crazy or anything and I didn't ask why he was in a mental hospital. However one night I had a very vivid dream in which I could see he was hiding something in a cupboard, and I knew it was something bad. After that I stopped answering his letters. I stumbled across his name somehow while searching for something via Google, a little over 20 years later. There was a short article about him... That's when I learned what put him in Bridgewater, and what he went on to do after he was released. I think I'm still somewhat rather stunned.

Surprisingly the American authorities seemed slow in coming down hard on this ghastly person, normally we tend to see American justice as fairly good but this time the offender probably gave them some kind of a story and they took it in and this possibly cost yet another life. Totally unbelievable errors.

@schneedgod

Yeah it does make the conversation difficult. We do need better rehabilitation programs that is 100% for sure. There are people locked up right now who can be functional, kind and productive free citizens if we were to give them the mental help that they truly need. However guys like this truly cannot be rehabilitated. I'm of the opinion that anyone who commits violent S.A of any kind, commits crimes against children that involve S.A or torture/murder and things of that nature - cannot be rehabilitated.

Predators do not and cannot change, there is NO rehabilitation of a child predator. There needs to be a one strike rule. Once you've been caught harming kids (beyond reasonable doubt) you're put to death the same way you killed your victim. This is EXACTLY why my parents kept us from sleep overs and hanging out with older kids. I always got mad because of it but as a parent I finally understand that there are creatures out there just waiting to harm our children. RIP to the victims, they were let down by the very institutions put in place to "protect" us.

I’m still on probation for a crime I committed in 2017. Ive been to jail 3 times because my probation is so incredibly strict! At first the judge gave me INDEFINITE probation for my FIRST offense! Now it’s 10 years. A $75 check ruined me and THIS monster got away with so much.
