I’m so impressed with the way the boys worked at getting their horses ready to travel. Most of the kids I know are so spoiled they wouldn’t know what to do except start up their Teslas or BMWs. I realize that in many cases it’s the parents fault but responsibility starts in the home. Kudos to you for starting them out right.

HE then found and motivated another family to see, recognize and act on their part of HIS PLAN. These horses are part of HIS PLAN; now they are traveling to the next phase. It’s so healthy that young people have the opportunity to do some rewarding and productive work. I live in the UK 🇬🇧 We don’t allow our young people to do tasks like this. I haven’t seen a mobile phone in the whole video. Our teenagers spend too much time living a virtual life not a real one we make them do too much academic work and not enough practical work

I am so thrilled that you were able to save Hambre' & Luna, giving them a start. Hambre' would definitely not have made it much longer. He's turned the corner and with some food looks like he'll make a good horse. I am glad Utah is close enough so they could take a chance on some of the others. The weeds they're eating is koshia. It is a dryland crop in some countries because its higher in protien than alfalfa , but it also contains oxalis which must be balanced by alfalfa. I comprehend not having timr as I have four and a foal to work with. Its time consuming and the job is never done.

Those loaded well. I find a show stick, like you would use showing cattle works well for grabbing a rope when you can’t get close enough to use your hand. Often I find that the animal is less afraid of the stick. Also when you get them used to it, it becomes a good training tool for positive reinforcement. I have one Mustang that would almost fall asleep getting her belly scratched. It takes a bit to get them okay with it, but once they like it, it’s as good as giving them a treat. I would lift a foot and when they relaxed, put it down and give their belly a scratch.

You are always welcome to give a home to these smart Navajo horses. The Farm on Route 66 is a safe rehomer, that's why people in difficult situation trust them with their horses -- no auction, no kill buyers. Not to forget, some get saved from the auctions that otherwise would get shipped to Mexico. Just look at the Hambre and Luna. Also, Rawhide is an ambassador of these great horses. I didn't even know until recently that Rawhide has been blind from one eye, before they even got him.
