I agree with you. They’re doing this in Florida too. What is the cumulative effect of all the spraying every single year. My kids swim in the lake and drink the water sometimes. You got a wonder what the long-term effect of that is. You also have to ask yourself who’s making money off of this deal

Man Chatuge is the best lake we have been too yet! When Bray had his tournament 2 weeks ago we just kept catching 2-15s and needed a 3-0 to cull all day long

Definitely a special place!

This particular grass is a very fast growing invasive grass. It can stick to your boat and spread to other lakes. As someone who enjoys fishing the shallow headwaters of the neighboring lake, I hope they keep it contained.

I'm with you. As fisherman, we should be at least a little aware of conservation issues but 99%+ of us aren't. I 100% get why guys would get upset with spraying aquatic vegetation but we are low man on the totem pole when it comes to reservoir management. Even if the vegetation being treated isn't invasive it can cause other issues.

Man, I have followed you for a few years since you were on a few podcasts with Epic Eric, and fishing is one of the tightest bonds people can have, but I don’t know how so many people who love fishing wanna bash a “liberal” we are in some dangerous times in our nation and I think we should find things that unite us over things that divide us.💖💜💖
